6th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)We found a wonderful bungalow (Valley View) for sale with D R Kivell and we were shown round with a lovely gentleman whose name was Geoff Lupton. At that time we were looking for a buyer for our house, with not much sign of a sale. Geoff kept in touch with us on a regular basis to keep us informed of any developments with Valley View and of course to see if there was any progress with our sale. Geoff was very happy to give us a 2nd viewing of VV, but sadly we were unable to conclude the purchase. We have nothing but the highest praise for Geoff for his courtesy, patience and professionalism and he is a great advert for D R Kivell.

2nd Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)House moves are generally stressful and prone to all sorts of problems and our latest, moving from Dorset to Devon has been no exception. Briefly we pulled out of a purchase and didn't want to lose our buyers so decided to rent for a few months, something we haven't done in years. We checked out some properties and then contacted Colwills about one that had just appeared on Right Move. From the start the whole process was handled in an efficient, friendly and relaxed manner. I can't speak highly enough of the people working at the firm. The whole transaction ran on rails and what could have added unwelcome extra anxiety proved to be the polar opposite. Top effort and highly recommended. PS as a sideline they can even direct you to the best pasty shop in Bude. :-)

25th Jan 2024 (13 weeks ago)Mark Kivell and his team, were brilliant from the beginning to the end whilst dealing with the sale of our Orchard and business. The initial valuation was very professional, yet friendly, and the fact that he had previously sold an Orchard a few years ago, to the fantastic drone footage, and feedback from him as well as his wonderful team. Even in these financially hard times, they achieved an above asking price offer, which proceeded very smoothly to the end. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, all.

Tina put me at ease as soon as I met her and Elisha’s attention to detail in photos were amazing. The whole team was so supportive. My house sold within days and they kept me well informed through the whole process. On the day I moved out they even brought me a ring doorbell tool because I had packed mine. If you are thinking of selling your house you can trust swift :)
12th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Admittedly it’s been 18 months since I dealt with Carl at Sbc ,he has a lazy attitude not interested happy to charge me £600 for an advert and rubbish online photos and then pretty much did nothing to try and sell my business I did all the work and still never sold it or got a result waste of money waste of time , like I said it’s been 18 months but I feel I’m still entitled to leave a review. I would never ever recommend them ever to any Buisness , at that time I had an apology email from Carl but I’m sorry it wasn’t enough, my Buisness went stagment online and I lost a fortune , £600 down the drain , take your money then they run .

19th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)I recently had the displeasure of having Phillip Ellis manage my two properties, I'm compelled to share my profoundly unsatisfactory experience. Having initially connected with a staff member at a networking event, the reality of working with this company fell far short of expectations. The litany of unprofessionalism began with the inexcusable allowance of early tenant access to one property, a blatant violation of the contract terms. In the other property, a shocking lack of property inspections persisted for an entire year, leaving my investment at the mercy of neglect. Critical paperwork was not only mishandled but also lost, contributing to a pervasive lack of communication from this company. Despite my persistent efforts to address these issues, there was no acknowledgment of fault or a hint of an apology. To say that Phillip Ellis fell short of their promises would be an understatement. The level of unprofessionalism exhibited throughout my dealings with them has been beyond poor. I cannot emphasise enough the sheer frustration and disappointment this company has caused. In conclusion, my encounter with Phillip Ellis stands out as one of the worst business experiences. Their complete lack of accountability, awful communication, and unfulfilled promises make them a company to avoid at all costs. Spare yourself the headache and explore alternative options for your property management needs

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.
