26th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)The most useless company to deal with with the most unprofessional staff .I have been chasing my tenancy deposit for the past one month ,3 months after I left the apartment but effort is not paying off. I have called several time but they wont pick their calls and if they ever pick the call ,the manager is not always on seat ,they won't reply your email. If there is anything less than 1 star.i would not hesitate for one moment to do that.

Their recommended solicitors Juno were very good with automated workflow to keep things moving. Their guidance on pricing was accurate and realistic. Highly recommend using them.

They provided a most professional, courteous and supportive service always available to talk and inform.us how the sale was going. The whole process, from initial conversations through the viewings to the completion of the sale was seamless. A wonderful team, well led by Peter Moon. It was fairly easy to contact them when needed and we were not waiting long to hear back from them. Our house sold in 2 months, there is still a long way to go with conveyancing however, so far satisfied with their service.

It was a challenging house, and Abbie was always positive and enthusiastic . She knows her local market and has a wide range of contacts. She achieved a good sale in a dropping market, her advice was well structured and accurate, and delivered in a pleasant manner. Sue Okell
24th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)" In the first fifteen years of their existence Powell's Rural Surveyors have established an enviable reputation as the place to go for those selling property with land. So, in November 2025 I asked them to market my property in Monmouth with nearly half an acre of land. Sophie Pilot was my allotted contact at Powell's and in the period November 2025 to completion of sale in April 2026 , performed far in excess of my expectations. This was in respect to viewings, support and resolving issues with those in the chain. This was particularly important in the last week before exchange when real issues arose. She worked late, including weekends harassing those who were causing delays and ensured that progress was maintained. I would thoroughly recommend Powell's if you have a property with land to sell and Sophie as the person to handle viewings and deal with purchasers " Regards David Cummings

29th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)For the most part our experience of Boardwalk was incredibly positive. Our estate agent Ester was 5 stars and genuinely was the best we've ever worked with after spending a prolonged period of buying and selling properties over the past few years with several estate agents from various companies. Ester's communication is above and beyond and I genuinely doubt you'll find a better estate agent. From her alone the premium you pay for Boardwalk is worth it. The reason however I am giving Boardwalk 4 stars is due to the sales progression side of the business. The communication was not up to the standard you would expect for the price you pay. Slow and at times unattentive comms with moments where you had to chase to get a response. Their online portal Property File is ok however our sales progressor either would update the sales progression steps late after they had happened or nor at all for both myself and our buyer. My property has sold and the sale completed and however on their portal it is still showing as the contract having not been signed yet. It's a confusing and destabilising time selling a property especially if you're unsure at what stage of the process you're at. Having the ability to see step by step where you and your buyer are in the process is in theory extremely useful however if, like in our case, it isn't used and that attention to detail just isn't there then what is the point of having it? If anything it adds to the anxiety of feeling in limbo which you naturally feel when selling/purchasing. So on this side of things the comms needs to be upped, which from reading other reviews, seems to be a common theme. It is a shame as this let down the otherwise flawless start of our Boardwalk experience that we had with Ester. In short great selling, weaker sales progression customer journey.

The property is an older building and had a few known issues that needed to be resolved before we could apply, and she kept us updated every step of the way. Even though the work took a longer than expected, she made the whole experience smooth by clearly explaining what was happening and what to expect next. Her communication and professionalism has been outstanding.

All of the team were helpful, attentive, professional and friendly at all times. They worked with us to communicate with our vendors and were always happy to do everything they could for us. Highly recommend.

Always very helpful nothing to much trouble and always put our minds at rest with little niggles as the sale took longer than planned. Had a issue regarding my sale and a neighbour's tree and Ian kept me calm and reassured in what was a very stressful time. Dealing with Claire on the phone was also very easy. Would definitely use H&H again and recommend to anyone to use in Chepstow and surrounding areas.
6th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)I recently completed my purchase and move from England to Wales and wanted to express my gratitude to the team at Fine and Country. Keeley was constantly available and helped me organise multiple visits over the year to different properties and her advice was very much needed. Corrine met me at all the houses and was very knowledgeable about them and the different locations. I visited my dream home 3 times with Corrine who was super friendly and made me feel so comfortable and gave me time in the house. Once agreed that this was my house the team went above and beyond to secure this house for me. Alice was then bought in for my sale and she was exceptional throughout, she stayed in constant touch with me, chased multiple people in the chain, was lightning speed at responding and became my therapist throughout the whole process. Once the purchase was complete and we headed to exchange and completion the real stress began. Alice did everything in her power to ensure my move went as smoothly as it could and even when there was obstacles Alice got me through it. Corrine even went to my house and waited for furniture to be delivered 2 weeks before I moved in and on my moving day Corrine met me with a plate full of lovely cakes and welcomed me to Wales with the biggest hug that I needed. My eternal thanks to this amazing team of women who helped me, listened to me and looked after me for the past year. Alexandra

Whenever issues around dates or logistics came up, we initially found ourselves worrying — only to realise there was no need, which says a lot given our past experiences with other agents. Unlike many property agencies, Hills genuinely care about their clients’ experience. They were consistently accommodating, supportive, and proactive. It’s clear they take real pride in what they do, and we feel they deserve recognition for operating at a noticeably higher standard than other agents.
