2nd Dec 2025 (9 mo. ago)Not the greatest experience. Edit: I’ve just seen the response from the business and they’ve actually lied (clearly got customers mixed up), this is not what happened and I’ve now changed my review to a 1 star. Would definitely not recommend, what a shocking service.

15th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)Very pleased to recommend Daniel Rose Residential Ltd. They have rented and managed my property in Islington for the last two years now. They always provide an excellent, proactive service both to the tenants and to the landlord. I have rented my property out now for over twenty years, and the service I receive from this independent agency is by far superior to the larger agencies I've used in the past.

I let my property out with them for nearly 5 years, and I'm still waiting in January for the final month's rent to be paid back to me from the tenant leaving in mid-November last year. On top of that the tenant left the flat in a complete state and I'm yet to receive any deposit money back to compensate. Calls/emails to the agency are being ignored.

Their feedback was always constructive and enabled us to adjust our approach to the sale, ultimately leading to a successful sale, in what was a difficult market due to UK and International economic factors.

Businesses are made up of people and Mylako has some great professionals working there who take the needs and situations of their customers very seriously and it shows with the correction of issues relating to works needing to be done, accounts to be paid and a myriad of other things for which a capable and willing managing agent is essential

4th Sep 2026 (23 days ago)My overall experience with Tower Estate Agents was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, I would not recommend their service to anyone.<br><br>From the very first day, the staff were initially nice, friendly and helpful, and I was happy when I received the keys to my flat. However, once I entered the property, I was shocked by the condition it was left in. The place was extremely dirty and completely unorganised. During the first few days, I had to spend my own time painting and cleaning the entire property from top to bottom. The condition was so bad that, even after cleaning, it still didn’t feel properly clean or suitable to live in.<br><br>On top of that, the cooker was not working. I contacted them to get it repaired, but it took a full week for the issue to be resolved, despite them knowing that I have children who needed to be fed. What made the situation worse was the way I was treated when I called. On several occasions, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very rude and gave me an attitude, and she even hung up on me more than once. I found this extremely unprofessional and upsetting.<br><br>Later, I discovered that the mattress provided in the property was in a truly disgusting condition. I could not allow my children to sleep on it, so I contacted them and asked for it to be replaced. Unfortunately, it took three months for them to finally change the mattress.<br><br>For anyone wondering why I waited for them to replace it rather than simply buying a new one myself, this was temporary accommodation, and I was not allowed to replace or dispose of the furniture myself. I therefore had no choice but to wait for them to deal with it.<br><br>Another thing I found very strange was that the manager repeatedly encouraged and pressured me to leave feedback online. At the time, I found this uncomfortable, especially considering the issues I was experiencing with the property and the service. I believe feedback should be given voluntarily and honestly, rather than feeling pressured to provide it.<br><br>Overall, my experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I expected a property to be provided in a clean, safe and reasonable condition, especially when children are involved. Instead, I felt that I had to constantly chase issues that should have been dealt with before I was given the keys.<br><br>I have also raised my concerns with my council, and I was told that they had received other complaints about this property/service and that they would no longer be booking this place for people.<br><br>I am sharing my experience so that anyone considering using this service knows what they may potentially be dealing with. Please think carefully before putting yourself through the stress and frustration that I experienced.
2nd Apr 2022 (4 years ago)I have recently purchased a detached bungalow at Winchmore Hill from Fullers. I am very satisfied with the performance of Fullers and the entire transaction is very smooth even I have to arrange the matter via email communication with Fullers overseas. Fullers is a very reliable, trustworthy and responsive estates agent and is highly recommended.
19th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)AVOID THIS AGENCY!!!!Barbara was acting as our letting agent, the property was handed back to us in a terrible state, furniture, walls and floors all damaged. We have had to fit a new bathroom, new flooring, buy new furniture and repaint the entire flat. During the course of the tenancy she didn’t allow us to visit the flat always making excuses as to why her sub tenants don’t want us there. She has refused to answer any of my calls and emails. She sent one email to say the company you had an agreement with as the ‘tenant ‘ has ceased operating and that was all. Do not hand your property to her if you are a Landlord as all she cares about is offering you a low guarantee rent and then placing anyone in the flat so she is in profit.
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I am a 44 years old an a Gas Safe Engineer. I have been working in maintenance since 1996. Never seen a worse maintenance company than Strettons. I have no words to describe how we the residents of Onslow Parade N14 5JN feel. Come and judge for yourself before considering to buy or rent a property where this company is involved. Now obviously they are going to reply that they do as much as possible etc . Which is rubbish! We are their customer and we are the people entitled to give them a honest good or bad review. Don't listen to they answers
28th Mar 2020 (6 years ago)After struggling to sell my house I stumbled upon Big Black Hen. I decided to call them for an initial chat. I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service

17th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)We didn't end up going ahead with our sale in the end - some family timing meant it wasn't the right moment for us - but I wanted to leave a review anyway because Tom was excellent throughout and I wouldn't hesitate to use him when we do sell.<br><br>He came across as genuinely thorough from the first meeting, not just a sales pitch. He talked us through the marketing price versus what we might actually achieve, was clear about how the launch and pre-launch process works, and didn't try to rush us into anything. When we told him our circumstances had changed, he was completely understanding and no pressure about it, which honestly says a lot about how he'd handle things once you're actually on the market too.<br><br>If you're weighing up agents in the Edmonton area, I'd put him on your shortlist. Thorough, straightforward, no hard sell.
