14th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

Bradley and Billy were really helpful and supportive especially as the purchase process went on much longer than any of us hoped. They proved to be invaluable contact with the sellers and were always happy to provide access for viewing or surveys etc. But most importantly they were consistently friendly, cheery and a real joy throughout which helped make a potentially stressful situation far easier and smoother.

They are super efficient, friendly, approachable and, most importantly, they actually get things done! Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and it’s so reassuring to know that any queries or issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.<br><br>They are a real credit to the company and make the whole renting experience so much easier and more enjoyable. It’s refreshing to deal with people who genuinely care about providing a great service.<br><br>A huge thank you to Greta and Miriam — you are both fantastic!

17th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Avoid these estate agents.<br><br>In my experience, they appear far more concerned about landlords than the tenants who pay their fees indirectly through their rent.<br><br>I moved into a supposedly luxury‘new-build’ flat that was filthy, damaged and excessively overheated. The conditions were so bad that they affected my health. Throughout my 13-month tenancy, I was repeatedly given excuses, misled and left chasing the company to resolve ongoing issues.<br><br>I had over a dozen visits from various tradesmen attempting to fix major problems with the flat, yet the whole experience was incredibly stressful and frustrating.<br><br>Despite requesting the landlord’s contact details in writing at the start of my tenancy, they refused to provide them. When it came to the return of my deposit, which should have been dealt with within 10 days under the terms of my tenancy agreement, I did not receive it until day 24, after having to chase them repeatedly.<br><br>What I find particularly frustrating is that they are very quick to send reminders when rent is due, yet getting a timely response or having legitimate tenant concerns addressed is an entirely different matter.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would strongly advise prospective tenants to think carefully before renting through this company. My 13 months dealing with them were stressful, disappointing and completely unacceptable.
