Their expertise saved me a lot of stress and potential legal headaches. Highly professional, knowledgeable, and proactive—I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services to any landlord. 10th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Absolutely unacceptable level of service. I walked in today 10.04 as a potential tenant and was immediately met with a complete lack of professionalism. A staff member was casually eating and chatting while I stood there waiting to be acknowledged, with no greeting or even basic recognition. After several seconds of being ignored, I was finally noticed, but the reaction I received made it very clear that my presence was seen as an interruption rather than a customer walking through the door. That kind of attitude is not only unwelcoming, it’s outright disrespectful. If this is how prospective clients are treated on first contact, it raises serious concerns about how the business operates overall. The owner should be concerned about this kind of behaviour being displayed to potential customers. Needless to say, I will not be returning or considering this place further. First impressions matter—and this one ensured there won’t be a second.

Doug & Georgia in particular were always very helpful and we felt went above and beyond what we expected as buyers. We wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again in the future.

They were flexible with viewing times, considerate of our father’s needs (he’s in his 80s), and always honest and clear with their guidance. The range of different properties was also impressive, especially as keeping within budget was an important factor. We especially appreciated that there was never any pressure to buy - no pushy sales tactics - just a straightforward, professional service. They also responded promptly to our solicitor’s queries, which helped the process run smoothly. We would happily use them again and highly recommend them.

30th Apr 2026 (5 days ago)**Update: I have since submitted a formal complaint via Foxtons' website and contacted Head Office by email, but have not received any acknowledgment or response so far. I have also emailed the North Finchley branch directly and attempted to contact a manager, but have received no response. Very disappointing experience with Foxtons due to the handling of our tenancy application. We were seriously interested in a property and ready to proceed, but the process was handled in an extremely unprofessional way. There were constant delays in sending the tenancy agreement, poor communication throughout, and long periods with no replies despite repeated follow-ups. When the agreement finally arrived, we reviewed it promptly and raised reasonable questions. Instead of receiving clear updates or timely support, we were left waiting with no proper response. We were then suddenly told that the property had been taken by another agent. As a result of the poor communication and lack of professionalism, we lost a property we genuinely wanted. Very frustrating experience and far below the standard expected from a major agency.

13th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I had a very bad experience with this agency. Initially, the property was advertised for £2000, but after I agreed, the rent was suddenly increased to £2100. I was also asked to pay multiple deposits and advance rent, which I did in full. When I received the keys and moved in, the house was not ready at all. There were multiple issues—no proper electricity setup, no gas card, broken fittings, and unfinished repairs. Even though I was promised everything would be fixed, it took over a month after moving in to complete basic work. Later, serious issues like no heating and no hot water continued for months. Despite repeated complaints, the landlord failed to take responsibility and even asked me to arrange repairs myself, which is unacceptable when full rent is being paid. I gave proper notice and paid all rent up to my move-out date. However, now the landlord is refusing to return my deposit and is still making unreasonable demands. This has been one of the worst renting experiences I’ve ever had. Very unprofessional service, poor maintenance, and no accountability. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

Communication was excellent throughout, and any issues on any side of the chain were dealt with quickly, calmly and effectively. Moving home is often described as one of life’s most stressful experiences, but Stewart genuinely took the stress out of it for us.
