I have to say a massive thank you to Natalie Yates, who went above and beyond with support. I would also like to thank the rest of the staff who took many phone calls from me, lol. Alexandra the lady who I dealt with was very friendly and nice I met her at the property I was early for my appointment but she was there already waiting. Very welcoming and was very helpful and answered all my questions. From start to finish Alexandra was very helpful putting my mind at ease when I had queries and helpful with the all the paperwork. I'd recommend Martin & Co Beeston after dealing with other estate agents these are by far the most welcoming and professional.
14th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)First photos were poor, I had to ask them to retake them a few times. No contact after it was on the market, no updates , had to phone for updates . Wouldn't recomnend Robert Ellis, we had a very bad experience with them, just feel it was a waste of time and a lost opportunity for us to sell our house.

5th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We recently purchased our first home through Marble after renting with them for over two years, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. The sales team did a fantastic job keeping us informed throughout the entire process. Yasmin, Antonia, and Hannah were consistently kind, professional, and clear in their communication, which made everything feel much smoother. The lettings team were equally impressive during our time as tenants. Any issues were handled promptly and efficiently, and we always felt well looked after. Annabel and Olivia were outstanding property managers, proactive, approachable, and always keeping us in the loop. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Marble to anyone renting or buying.
21st Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)Living in a Robins Estates property deeply tainted my experience of student housing. Although me and my friends found the humour within it they were the most unprofessional and useless company I have ever had to try and cooperate with. Their entire business is faceless and made up of lying estate agents who are simply trying to invalidate the students living in their properties and get away with doing absolutely nothing. Their phone number automatically puts you through to a call service where it is virtually impossible to be passed on to someone who actually knows about the property. And even then you are asked to put the emergency issues into an email which always gets an automated response that they’re out of office. Even when this emergency is an active leak. They do not communicate with their landlords which forced us to contact the property owner ourself, to which he was completely unaware of the leaking roof, rat infestation and many other issues. Even then Robins Estates refused to support us and by the end of the year had practically evicted us when deciding to rip out the bathrooms weeks before the tenancy ended. On top of the kitchen being infested with rats this forced me and my housemates out of our house, something which if we did not have the privilege of being able to go home from uni would have made us have nowhere to live. Robins Estates never seemed to understand the seriousness of these issues and constantly invalided us unless our parents rang up and demanded action in writing to hold them accountable. And even then the issues from when we first moved in were never resolved. Empty promises and lies are the foundations of Ben and Alex’s so called professional techniques. Overall, I will always hold immense anger for Robins Estates and the way they made a group of 7 girls feel so invalidated, helpless and frustrated in a situation that we were PAYING thousands of pounds to be in. If I can give you one piece of advice it would be to find any other estate agent and recommend your friends to stay away from this company. I hope that one day Ben and Alex will understand the seriousness of their job and how absolutely useless they are at fulfilling their roles. Even after being offered reduced rent to stay in the house for another year we were completely set in our decision to leave Robins Estates and the unresolved rat infestation as soon as possible. I am so grateful to now be living in a lovely student house with a very understanding landlord who we have regular contact with and is massively useful. No other groups of students should have to experience Robins Estates.
18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

31st May 2026 (19 days ago)I have used estate agents across the UK for business and private buying, selling and renting over the years. This is the first time that I have met an agent like Elizabeth. So many agencies over promise and under deliver. Elizabeth Gaughan is very different. The reason she is different is that she is professional, does what she says and makes sensible recommendations. She is pleasant, friendly and helpful. Elizabeth and Richard are easy to reach when you need them and knowledgeable about the local market. One of them would answer a query within minutes of it being asked. I would use this business again and recommend Elizabeth Gaughan wholeheartedly.
