19th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)I think Ashton are more aimed at selling houses than flats/apartments. They contacted me once, right near the end of the contract. I had to call them to find out feedback and if viewings took place. This was a little disappointing.

The team at the Kelvedon Hatch office demonstrated an impressive wealth of knowledge, handling every aspect with professionalism and care. From capturing excellent photographs to marketing the property effectively and conducting viewings, their service was truly second to none. A special mention goes to Hayley, the sales progressor, who worked tirelessly to ensure the sale went through smoothly. An outstanding team of dedicated professionals whom I would thoroughly recommend.

12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.

They helped us find tenants really quickly, and when external circumstances meant things got complicated, they went above and beyond both in time and resource to help support us and find us the perfect solution as quickly as possible. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a letting agent. They were responsive, available, logistically efficient, and good humoured. From the listing to the exchange and completion, everything was seamless. Excellent communication throughout from Ben, Roy and Kym. Thanks very much for making a stressful time so easy.

Our first contact was Brook Atkinson, who got the ball rolling and found us our ideal home, unfortunately our landlord sold the property after two years, and we found ourselves looking for another home. Brook was on the case and in no time at all, found us another lovely home. We cant thank Brook enough for her efforts to find us our new home, she is very professional and focused in her work, we would highly reccomend Brook and GBP estates, if you are looking for professional team. 8th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)The staff are extremely helpful and polite once in your home they treat it with respect and keep you informed every step of the way, The leader of the branch is Charlie King who leads by example and expects his team to match his enthusiasm,. After having my house listed with another agent for six weeks with very little action or communication. Charlie was sure he could sell my house in two weeks, but in all honesty it took them four days and that was because there was a bank holiday! The error I made was not using them as my first choice DO NOT make my error . use Balgores first.

They kept me updated throughout the process and were a good link for direct contact with the buyer. Their prices were also very competitive. I would recommend them and be happy to use them again.

What should have been a straightforward transaction became a complicated chain with numerous delays, but Waqas stayed on top of everything from start to finish. He was always available, always chasing updates and always looking for solutions. There were times where we were probably his most demanding buyers, but he remained patient and professional throughout.
