6th Jun 2026 (15 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.
16th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)We rented with 1st Fields for almost 8 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Any issues we had were immediately addressed and communication was always prompt. If you're a clean tenant and punctual with the rent, you'll find no better letting agency. Connor and Holly x

She is so friendly, warm and approachable, which made what can be a very stressful process much easier. Her communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt supported and kept updated. Thank you, Amelia, for all your hard work – I really appreciate everything you’ve done!
6th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)I was referred to William H Brown after a good experience with Bagshaws. Unfortunately this wasn't a good experience. They charged me a "1% but fixed" fee for the sale (5k +VAT). They then listed my house for 475k. When I realised this I asked how the fee was calculated, they failed to provide details yet insisted it was "based on 475k". So they are actively trying to rip off their customers or can't do basic math. Ive cancelled and moved to another agent and halved my fee. Would not recommend.

They are professional and knowledgeable and handled valuation, viewings and updates with a personal touch that was really appreciated through what can be a stressful process.<br>I really could not have asked for a better service and would highly recommend Martin & Co.

All photographs were representative of our actual property, not funny angles just as it is. One viewer commented that ours was the only property she had see that actually looked like the photographs. 4th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)I'd recommend Redbrik to anyone selling their house. The whole team were absolutely lovely, they kept us informed throughout the process and gave us advice when we asked for it. We were in very safe and competent hands all the way through what can be a stressful process.

She is wonderful to speak to; always polite, friendly and personable, as well as being professional, knowledgeable and efficient. My home inspections were always carried out with respect by lovely local staff.<br>Problems were easy to report. Thank you to all staff for over the years - but especially Olivia - you are brilliant at what you do! ??????

The whole team has been professional, friendly, and always quick to help with anything we’ve needed. A special mention has to go to Debbie, who has been absolutely wonderful throughout. She is warm, approachable, and genuinely cares about making everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her, and her kindness and professionalism really stand out. We truly appreciate all of Debbie’s help and would highly recommend this letting agency to anyone looking for excellent service. - Michaela&jodie

Ewe move will always be a first choice if we are to move again and we will always refer them to a friend who is moving. To finish off the sale we was handed a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely touch. ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!***

I was initially a little hesitant after hearing from a neighbour that I might hardly hear from Rod, but I’m very happy to say I had absolutely nothing to worry about!<br><br>Aaron and Emily were fantastic — always quick to respond, keeping me regularly updated and incredibly helpful despite the time difference. I especially appreciated that they checked on the property regularly, which gave me great peace of mind while I was working within a budget. I understand there is normally a charge for this, as there was with most of the other agents I spoke to, so I really appreciated their courtesy in making the process as stress-free as possible for me while I was abroad.<br><br>They genuinely made what was a daunting process feel somewhat easier. I always felt comfortable reaching out whenever I was anxious or had a question, and there were many! I’m grateful for their support and would happily recommend the team at Alexander Jacob.
15th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)We had 4 agents to evaluate our house and although they were all efficient there was one that stood out from the crowd. Melissa from Morfitt Smith was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the type of potential buyers, realistic about the asking price, and we felt that the service from a local agent would be more suitable for us. Once we made the decision to use Morfitt Smith, they were very quick to arrange the photographs, which were amazing, and to list the property. We immediately had a lot of viewings arranged and received several offers straight away one of which we accepted with their help and guidance. The communication was fantastic, by text and email, we were kept informed of everything by Lauren, our dedicated contact in the office. We're now looking forward to a smooth process through to the exchange of contracts. We are very happy we made the decision to go with Morfitt Smith, they have been so friendly, professional and efficient in what is potentially a stressful time, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

He knew everything about the house, went into detail in each room, simple things that other estate agents don't mention such as the age of the windows etc. Was also able to answer every question.

Just no communications or return calls, messages etc. Imagine if you were a buyer, would your price be communicated to the vendor with such inefficiency?
