    Absolutely Exceptional! Profile Homes marketed and sold our property and are top class estate agents, we have no hesitation in recommending them, and have already done so, to our friends interested in selling. Some of the brilliant things they did: They accurately and beautifully marketed our property and constantly monitored online interest, occasionally changing our online information to increase uptake. They filtered out tyre kickers and did accompanied viewings. This meant we could carry on with things like holidays not worrying we were missing out on potential buyers. They always gave immediate feedback from viewings and guided us on any offers made. They liaised with our solicitors and other Agents in a chain of properties below us. We are a retired couple and were selling our property to down size, and our sale would have always involve a chain. Without Sue and Les the long chain would not have completed successfully, they know the business and worked wonders. Selling and buying property always involves costs, but their bill is one cost we are indeed very happy to pay! Thank you Sue and Les you have been wonderful.... Read more

    Very easy to deal with and got on with the process quickly. Any queries were dealt with quickly and much to my surprise managed to secure a number of viewings which given the current climate was excellent. We are currently in the under offer stage and we will see if this goes to completion. Overall so far I can only describe the process with them as excellent. One issue I would have changed from the beginning was to add a floor plan to the marketing information which they don't do as standard. We did agree to do this if necessary so not really an issue....     Called on Clee Ammanford to sell our property, when another local agent had failed. They found our first buyer in good time, but unfortunately they were not able to proceed (no fault of Clee) . Back on the market, more viewings and offers - and the one that came good. Throughout the process the team at Clee have been supportive and kept me well informed.     I noticed a property for sale but it had sitting tenants. I have fond out the the landlord has supposedly accepted a lower offer. The offer i made was higher than the asking price. Amy (exceptionally rude would not shut up talking over me all the time) I asked had she put the offer to the landlord she said she had spoken to the tenants (what right had she to do that) she also said she had spoken to the landlord and put the higher offer to him (how do I know that she did this) why would a landlord not accept a higher offer of £15000? I know my house is going on the market next week (if the person has only been in the property for 7 years the landlord needs to give 8 weeks notice and he can give as much notice as he wants. The agents will not give the landlord's address but this is available via the land registry service which i shall use to obtain the information this is the only way I can verify if the estate agents have put my offer to the landlord...     Not impressed they put people working before people on benefits tell you if your on benefits you can't afford the property even though you will get housing benefit and iv noticed on quite a few reviews on here they blame the landlords for everything half the reviews on here are probably from people they know or friends with them im glad im not renting from them...     Having recently sold our parents house through Peter Alan Morriston, I can only say that I would STRONGLY advise anyone to steer clear. My sister and I have found them to be totally inefficient, poor communication and lacking local knowledge. Firstly, they could see the condition on the house and I presume would know the local value, but were WAY out on price, which I believe was over inflated to get us to go with them. Secondly, they would rarely get back to us when leaving a message, as you could rarely get through. Plus we would give them answers to queries from the vendor, then a few days later they would ring us back saying the vendor was worried as they had received no reply and yet THEY had not passed on the message. Also, they had been trying and trying (apparently) to contact the buyer's estate agents to ask necessary questions and could never get through, I tried the same today, spoke to them and the matter was resolved!? Many a time it seems like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, because somebody was off on holidays and hadn't relayed the message. All in all we found them utterly useless and if it wasn't for the fact that we were so far down the road, we would have changed. Our advice is to steer clear, you have been warned!!!... Read more

    Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.... Read more
