27th May 2026 (23 weeks ago)I rented a property with this agency in 2024, and although I’m writing this review late, people should be aware of my experience. This was one of the worst agencies I have dealt with. The property was full of cockroaches when I moved in (I did not know before I move in). No proper measures were taken to eradicate them. During the tenancy, they agreed that I could move out, but after that they completely stopped answering calls and emails. Then one day, they suddenly sent me an email claiming I had breached the contract and refused to return my deposit. Very unprofessional and dishonest behavior. I would strongly advise others to avoid this agency.
29th Jan 2019 (7 years ago)Throughout a very long and complex sale with lots of issues and potential deal breakers, Richard kept us updated and encouraged. He was always prompt to reply to messages by phone or email. He was always honest and upfront, managing our expectations and delivering difficult news appropriately. With a different estate agent we might not have had the energy to see the sale through. Robert played a similar role throughout the initial part of our sale while we kept having to re-adjust the price in a very tricky market. These guys are the real deal, the opposite of a dodgy estate agent cliché, they know their stuff and genuinely care about their clients.

His hard work was invaluable in resolving problems and facilitating good communication between different parties. Much appreciated.
19th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)I’m a long term tenant at one of the properties managed by Brown & Brooke. Emily and Cameron in the property management team have been absolutely faultless! Extremely prompt to respond to any repair requests or property queries. In fact, they proactively order repair works following routine inspections (which they always mindfully check before coming).
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

29th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)When considering the sale of rental property in Forest Hill we approached Pickwick Estates, who were marketing a nearby home and engaged directly with Paolo, who provided an accurate valuation remotely. Paolo is a local expert and is very familiar with property typologies and buyers in the Honor Oak and Forest Hill area.<br><br>Paolo looked after the whole process for us, was easily contactable directly via WhatsApp, achieved a sale over asking surpassing alls expectations. We appreciated the personal service.<br><br>Paolo expertly progressed the leasehold sale and we are delighted to have now completed.
17th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)My experience started off really well when I first moved in, and everything seemed smooth. Unfortunately, as time went on, several problems began to arise.<br><br>We had no Wi-Fi for almost two months, there was a rat infestation, and the air vent in the property never actually worked and seemed to be there purely for display. These issues made the experience increasingly frustrating.<br><br>When I eventually decided to move out, the staff helped with the process. Before paying for the final month, I specifically asked whether I would receive my money back for the days I would not be living there, and I was told that I would. I moved out only two days after the rent was due, yet I was only refunded around half of what I had paid.<br><br>I have now been trying to resolve this for around four months. I have called the office regularly, sometimes around four times a week, but I repeatedly get told that “Charles isn’t in the office.” Unfortunately, this has become extremely frustrating because I still have not received a proper explanation or resolution.

24th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Have been in this property for 5 years now and it’s the most painful process when something needs to be fixed. There’s been occasions we’ve been ghosted for literally an entire year with regards to property management related stuff. Sometimes they give you hope and suggest someone is coming or ask for more details, only for them to not turn up or ghost you again. You have to chase them via email, phone calls, WhatsApps every day to finally get any movement. I would not recommend renting with these guys unless you have time alongside your day job to be constantly chasing them and sending them reminders.

Their sales strategy led to 7 offers in one WE, and it wasn’t an easy house to sell either as it had been lived in for 50+ years and had its share of clutter and zero maintenance. Justin supported all the way through the sales process, was always available to help, and personally visited to get documents signed. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you

Really knew the area and made selling easy!- 16th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
