I have had a relationship with Acorn Forest Hill since 2014. The service I have received has been nothing short of exceptional. They are a very professional outfit. Five stars.
We had a terrible experience dealing with Acorn during our house purchase - it's clear that they represent the seller's needs 100%, with no regard for the buyer. We found Acorn to be unnecessarily aggressive and meddling into matters that our solicitors were already managing perfectly fine. It was so clear that all Acorn cared about was earning its commission asap and they'd do anything to reach that goal. Acorn would only contact us if it was something they wanted - when we had a question, we were often ignored.
Over the past few months we ve been working closely with Alex Galvin from Jll Greenwich whilst looking to buy a flat. From the beginning, he has been a proper professional, very reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
He kept an excellent communication level throughout the process even when things didnt go as expected with the purchase process. He would always reply back to our questions and requests in a timely manner if not even earlier than expected, even on his leave days!
We trully appreciated his efforts and his dedication to making things work for us through this process. We would highly recommend Alex and Jll Greenwich!
Do not use JLL - their rates are some of the highest in Greenwich and they add on surprise charges for everything! They also failed to call me when my tenants moved out meaning I lost several months rent and failed to make amends. (they had tried to contact me via an old email despite continuing to send bills to my new email!) They took no responsibility for the situation. please shop around - you can get better service at a lower cost.
We're very pleased with the service provided by Javaid and his team at KFH and all the help they gave us in selling our flat. As we live quite some distance from the flat Javaid regularly went round with the purchasers to help deal with their enquiries. Always friendly and professional he kept us fully informed with updates and negotiated very well on our behalf.
Really disappointed. Completely overvalued my propety from the outset and lured me into a false sense of security. Constantly showed people round who weren’t interested as they didn’t fit the criteria, simply to hit their viewings targets. Genuinely feel like I lost out on ££££’s as a result of going with them in the first place. Only slight positive is that the people themselves are nice enough and I was met with politeness, even when I told them I was going elsewhere. In my experience it really paid to go with a local agent, I’d urge anyone selling in Forest Hill to do the same.
Great team of professionals who aren't just focused on making money off you but delivering a service and getting you the best in whatever they can. People like Neil, Ali and the team are excellent!
Real good people and definitely recommend. ????????????????
RE/MAX First. I have no idea what happened to my experience but it was completely different to the other reviews. Communication was sloppy with me doing the chasing. I was told that I was left two voicemails - not to my number. Unprofessional presentation of self, company and customer experience. This did not instill any confidence in their ability to provide even a reasonable service. Messy, sloppy, nonchalant attitude.
Just scrolled to the bottom and it would appear that RE/MAZ First are piggy baking on previous tenants Charles Knights Estates excellent reviews. Initial instinct was correct - cowboys!
24/10/2018 - have others noticed that the majority of 5 star ratings are from people with just one review under their belts. Rather suspicious in my opinion.
The Knight Frank letting team has facilitated to close the deal in a quite quick and professional manner. Christopher and his team, in particular Chris Nguyen, have acted proactively in serving the client and attentive in responding email swiftly. Thanks Knight Frank letting team.
Initial experience is great and very professional but our experience at the end of tenancy was terrible. We were charged around £400 for damages for stuff which was by previous tenants and while some of it was mentioned in the check in report, some of the stuff was never mentioned.
Our fault we didn't look in to too much detail in check in report as we had an understanding with the staff at knight Frank maintenance but she left and the new staff Heather didn't budge. She didn't bother comparing check in and check out reports and we had to eventually pay as we didn't want to get in to the hassle.
The amounts they charge are over priced, for instance key replacement for the window was charged at £75.
Our rent refund calculations were not accounted for and after several polite reminders they looked in to it.
