17th Jul 2026 (9 weeks ago)Go out of your way to avoid this agency, we have been landed with the landlord from hell who has painted over mould, left us without a working shower and let themself into the property without any notice.<br><br>Although this is not the agency's fault, it shows there is no vetting process in place before they take on clients. As well as that, they have been zero help in aiding us in contacting our landlord who we simply cannot get hold of and may have vanished off the face of the earth for all we know. If I could leave zero stars I would.

21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)We recently bought our new home through HF Devizes and had a really positive experience from start to finish.<br>Libby, Tom and Ryan were all fantastic to deal with; friendly, responsive and incredibly accommodating throughout the whole process. What we particularly appreciated was how honest and open they were about the property, including the bigger-ticket concerns that come with buying an old cottage. At no point did we feel things were being glossed over or that we were being given the hard sell, which gave us a lot of confidence in the purchase.<br><br>Buying a house can be stressful, particularly when there are a few quirks and complexities involved, but the team were pragmatic, helpful and straightforward whenever we needed them.<br><br>We’re now very happily settling into our new home and would have absolutely no hesitation in buying through HF Devizes again. Highly recommended.

Kept in the loop with viewings and outcomes. Very useful feedback from potential buyers. Found the Street.co.uk app good. Would definitely use McFarlane Sales & Lettings again. Tim Stanley was excellent.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, positive and understanding - something that truly set them apart from what people often expect of estate agents. They approached everything with such sensitivity, recognising that this wasn’t just a sale, but something tied to a bereavement. Their support and thoughtful communication made a difficult process feel much more manageable. Their professionalism was equally impressive. The property was sold to the first viewers, which speaks volumes about their expertise, preparation and approach. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sam and Russell to anyone. They combine genuine compassion with outstanding results, a rare and invaluable combination.

Ellie Glass was my primary contact although everyone in the office was involved in some way or other.<br>The sale proved to be very difficult and protracted with many obstacles.<br>Throughout the sale Ellie was constantly in touch with calls or emails and worked exceptionally hard with the chain to help the sale along. I’m pretty sure that if not for the efforts of Ellie, Sam and the team I would still be waiting to move.<br>Thank you all very much.

Then it went very quiet and I had to call to see if anything was happening and how the market was doing. Then a flurry of activity which led to an offer.

The photos subsequently taken & the video produced - including aerial drone footage - were outstanding & the presentation of the property was fantastic.<br><br>Viewings were handled professionally, and communications around viewings & offers were clear & easy. The house sold within two working days. Kingstons were also able to recommend a local solicitor, who was wonderful through the whole process.<br><br>The whole team, but Chloe in particular, were amazing during the final weeks before exchange when things became more complicated due to some issues with our buyers' solicitor. Their dedication in always being there to answer our questions and liaise with our buyers was hugely appreciated. Without Kingstons' professionalism there's every chance our chain would have broken.<br><br>Huge thanks to Chloe, Callum, Izzy & everyone we dealt with during our sale. We've left the area, so unfortunately won't be able to use them for future moves, but we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

Quick responses, helped her with forms and made sure we had viewed the property enough, I was worried being a FTB always hearing horror stories of estate agents and the whole process being a negative experience but Chris has made it so amazing and set my mind to ease, genuinely wouldn’t recommend anyone else, will forever now be coming to Chris if I want to sell/buy a property. Again thank you Chris! Made such a stressful time<br>super straight forward ????????????

He is always helpful, responsive and quick to deal with any issues that arise. Most recently, he went above and beyond to help resolve a potentially difficult access issue and ensure that some essential work could go ahead as planned. It is very reassuring to know that the property is in such helpful and reliable hands. Highly recommended.
