Our house was arranged for a part-Ex through TM but as far as I am concerned I should still be treated like a client with the same standards. The whole ordeal with TM has been terrible. They do not vet any of the viewers, most people who came round either had no funds to buy the house, not sold their current house or could not commit to the moving date being so far in advance. More then one occasion the agents were so late to the house that we were more then half way showing the people round. When they did finally show up we had to book in private extra viewings or answer extra questions as TM were unable to answer questions on the house or commit to more viewings. The icing on the cake was the final viewing. They were late as usual and we were halfway through showing the people round. We advised the non apologetic agent that we would walk up the road then come back and to call us on my mobile when ready (Had this situation with Green & Co and they called and waited for 2 minutes just fine) 20 mins later we heard nothing so we walked back to the house to find the agent gone and ALL doors to the house unlocked with the viewers waiting outside saying they were waiting as the agent left it all unlocked. We were relieved to find these people were not the type to take advantage of the situation or any passer by for that matter! We called to complain to the Wantage branch and the manager was less then helpful if not rude. We were very calm on the phone and stated the facts in order but we were cut off by him saying 'its not getting us anywhere'. No apology so we advised we would talk to our developer to remove them, to which he replied 'We'll see' then hung up! I will never be using TM and will be advising friends and family the same.... The house buying experience is stressful at the best of times but being a first time buyer can really blow your mind! Luckily, Savills were wonderful from the very beginning. In particular, Sasha and Paula. Both were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and best of all, available! I don’t remember a single time neither of them being available when calling...and we had A LOT of questions! Some of which weren’t really in their remit to answer. We’ve been settled in to our new home for a month now and we’re so happy. Thank you Sasha and Paula for making this huge life event that little less stressful!... Read more

I had my flat valued by there head of Sales. After my initial email was ignored I finally managed to pin down a date for a valuation. His valuation was way off the mark at £250,000 well bellow every other similar property that was on the market or sold. He insisted that if we marketed at £300,000 we would be disappointed, have problems with the mortgage valuation stage etc etc We ended up using another agent and sold in a day for the asking price of £300,000 ! Using Savils would have potentially cost me £50k but they would have won some very easy commission for very little work. If I was someone less aware or elderly for example I could have fallen for this. Very unprofessional practice to undervalue to get quick commission for minimum work. They also change for photography upfront and have some of the highest fee's out there. They are trading on a name, avoid at all costs.... Read more

They use Grays Residential Lettings for their letting arm. Unfortunately that company is very bad. After paying a 200 holding deposit. Property was still being viewed and on market, they basically had no interest in letting the mews property in shrivenham. (I feel sorry for the landlords) after them receiving all the references. I was told they didn't receive any, when I checked and called their bluff, it was all received, sarah gray just had no idea how to check her email. Whilst I did get the 200 back, which you only get when they screw up! I lost time and money, and also an ideal property, the landlords as well lost money and time. If you have a property to let DO NOT use them, or Grays, they are basically time wasters. Ed Preece the director of waymark was a bit of a womble when confronted about the issues as well. I credit checked both companies, waymark and grays and fascinating fact, they are very near collapse with a credit limit of £500 each. Credit report available on request, as are emails of the conversations between all parties to prove their contempt. Do not use them they are charlatans who waste your precious time.... Read more
