Matt, the Branch Manager, has been fantastic throughout the entire process. When things became complicated with the solicitor, he stepped in immediately to help resolve issues and was always available at the end of the phone whenever we needed advice or support. Leo was also brilliant, keeping us regularly updated and ensuring we always knew what was happening with our sale and purchase. His communication was excellent and made a potentially stressful process much easier to manage. The whole team has been professional, proactive, and genuinely committed to helping us move. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you for all your hard work and support!

Everyone we dealt with was helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Chelsea, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly proactive, always chasing solicitors, keeping us updated, and doing everything she could to help us get to completion smoothly. Highly recommend!
17th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Beware when your purchaser takes out a mortgage through your estate agent Would like to give zero but not allowed . In my opinion Ashbourne Bagshaws Residential protected a so called ‘hot buyer ‘ to the detriment of my sale. Helen (manager) lied to my face and said sale was going well . All the while she knew the so called ‘buyer’ had no mortgage or buildings regulations for a conversion ie not proceedable . Nor even had they 5 weeks later carried out the security checks for conveyance . I lost property after property . This is now a law suit and far from me being a tricky vendor the purchaser were not proceedable at that time. Over 4 months later l withdrew as still no Exchange . Connells the owner of Bagshaws Residential were willing to completely forget their duty to me in favour of this so called hot buyer . They were happy to let this go on month after month until the purchaser was able to proceed. In my opinion it is dishonest to favour a buyer because they were purchasing their mortgage through Connells .

Erin has been extremely helpful throughout the whole process, from organising viewings, keeping us up to date on the progress and with the property we were buying being in a slightly unusal circumstance she was really helpful in making sure we understood the scenario and what needed to be done. Highly recommend - thank you Erin!

20th May 2026 (24 days ago)Our first time selling and buying a home, Abode helped us and we’re always happy to help out answering the questions and providing good insight. One thing, they only have one person who could do viewings ( this didn’t matter so much to us because our house sold quickly) but it did mean having to either wait a week for availability or do you own viewings. Despite that , really genuine & kind people working at Abode and felt supported throughout our sale.

26th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)In their correspondence emails they warn about companies in this field. they say "this is a red flag and would indicate you are NOT dealing with a reputable company! • Drop their offer at the last minute - If a serious structural issue is raised during the survey, this may affect the offer price. However, a genuine home buyer would NEVER try to renegotiate their formal offer based on cosmetic concerns. " This is exactly what they did so this is a red flag and would indicate you are NOT dealing with a reputable company!

Adam stood out from day one: professional, knowledgeable and hands-on. He attended nearly every viewing, provided immediate and constructive feedback, and made subtle but very effective changes to our marketing. His communication was excellent — evenings, weekends, and helpful voice notes — which worked perfectly for us with work and young children. He genuinely went the extra mile, even attending our home to allow surveyors in when we couldn’t. Adam guided us not only on the sale but also offered great advice for our onward purchase. His attention to detail, enthusiasm and commitment made the whole process smoother. We’d absolutely use him again and highly recommend him.

He really went above and beyond for me, especially when I had a family emergency and kindly went out of his way to drop the keys to me to save me collecting them I would 100% recommend Dean and really appreciate all of his help and support throughout the whole process.
