He was extremely helpful throughout and went above and beyond when we hit a bump in the road taking it upon himself to sort a mistake my accountant had made. Ali at Hamptons stood out in particular since he directly understood our need, and once we found the apartment, he made sure everything was going as fast as possible. So glad it worked out, and a particular thank you to Ali!
9th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)AVOID! both as a tenant and as a landlord. I'm a tenant in a property under their portfolio, I'm facing severe lack of communication and total lack of integrity. I'm in the unfortunate situation of desperately needing to move out early due to personal health reasons. I can't move out until Maskells finds a replacement tenant. Their approach has been to try and profit from the situation, which I personally find morally wrong. Rather than trying to replace me, they are putting an out of the market price to try and squeeze extra pounds of commission without any risk, as the property is not vacant. Communication related to the process has also been lacking and not transparent. Tenants: you are better off with some other agencies. Landlords: find someone with integrity to manage your properties.
20th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I’ve had the pleasure of working with Russell Simpson, and in particular Ali Carter, over a 14-year tenancy at Upper Cheyne Row in Chelsea and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely collaborative. Ali has been a pleasure to deal with throughout, always approachable, efficient, and thoughtful in her communication. Over such a long tenancy, what stood out most was the level of trust, continuity, and mutual respect maintained on all sides. The recent end of tenancy process was handled seamlessly and in a very fair and constructive manner, which I greatly appreciated. It’s rare to find this level of service and consistency over such a long period, and I would not hesitate to recommend Ali and the wider Russell Simpson team to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-managed experience in Prime Central London. 20th May 2026 (30 days ago)The team were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, especially Emma and her manager, Guy. They provided excellent support and kept communication flowing smoothly between my solicitor and the seller’s solicitor. I would definitely recommend them.
2nd Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)Had a lovely experience with Knightsbridge estate agents, specifically Jessica Richard’s :) she was very accommodating during the search, showed me around a couple flats in the area and helped me find the perfect home for the duration of my studies in London, within walking distance to university and within my budget- on a very short notice. The process was quick from viewing to singing the lease and she helped me every step of the way. I’ve got no complaints.
2nd Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)Excellent customer service! In early January I spotted an apartment for rent — it was exactly what I was looking for in terms of location, price, and everything else. I contacted Ruben via WhatsApp, and he called me back immediately. The viewing was arranged for the next day. I visited the apartment and it was love at first sight. As I’m not English, I wasn’t very familiar with the rental process in London. Ruben took the time to explain everything, was super efficient, and always available whenever I had questions. Within 24 hours he told me the landlord had agreed in principle to my offer, and the formal process began. Thuraya Al-Haidari then handled everything — again, always helpful and attentive. I wanted to change the sofa, the bed linen, etc., and the team negotiated with the landlord so that everything could be arranged for my comfort. On the day I moved in, the apartment was spotless — and there was even a little bouquet of flowers! I have to say that before this I was renting just around the corner through Draker, and there’s simply no comparison — here they truly care about their clients, not just their wallets as at Draker. A big thank you to the whole team Thuraya and Ruben MERCI !!!

They are professional, very efficient and have been there for me from the beginning of renting my previous flat right to the end. Vanessa has dealt with all my issues, always positive and caring, and I highly recommend Tates for anybody looking to rent or buy property.
16th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)RUN AWAY from this agency. I had a deeply disappointing experience dealing with Mr. William Delaney, Anne Hughes, and Coopers of London during a serious disrepair issue involving leaks, water damage, lack of hot water, and pest concerns. Communication was consistently confrontational, dismissive, and completely lacking professionalism. Rather than addressing urgent tenant concerns constructively, Mr. Delaney repeatedly minimized issues and adopted a hostile tone in written correspondence. We documented everything carefully with photographs, videos, and emails, which were later escalated. Instead of resolving the issues, the agency argued technicalities and unreasonable terms. We endured over 3 months of disruptive construction works while still being charged full rent, despite parts of the property — including the bathroom — being unusable. We were simply told to use a nearby gym bathroom, which was unacceptable. There were also repeated access attempts without proper consent or coordination, creating significant stress and disruption. During COVID, as an asthmatic tenant trying to avoid unnecessary exposure, I requested viewings take place in our presence and provided multiple alternative time slots. Instead of handling this respectfully, William insulted us and my medical concerns were qualified as “spurious.” He went ahead to the viewing without our consent. As tenants, we remained cooperative and repeatedly tried to accommodate access and repairs. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a property agency, and I would strongly discourage anyone from renting through Coopers of London. 22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I am a 44 years old an a Gas Safe Engineer. I have been working in maintenance since 1996. Never seen a worse maintenance company than Strettons. I have no words to describe how we the residents of Onslow Parade N14 5JN feel. Come and judge for yourself before considering to buy or rent a property where this company is involved. Now obviously they are going to reply that they do as much as possible etc . Which is rubbish! We are their customer and we are the people entitled to give them a honest good or bad review. Don't listen to they answers
1st Jun 2026 (18 days ago)Rented a property through Johns and Co for 18 months. We were good tenants and looked after the place. They were ok during the tenancy, but now seem to be doing everything they can to make deductions from our deposit. In the weeks before moving out Johns and Co pushed an expensive end of tenancy clean on us via email. We decided to book our own professional clean from a reputable cleaning company. Several weeks after moving out we were told that parts of the clean we had instructed were not good enough and that they wanted to deduct the full cost of one of their expensive cleans from our deposit. They did not give us any opportunity to get our cleaners to re-attend and make good contentious areas. Other things they are trying to deduct: - Over £100 for "putting a sink plug back together" - £144 for a door threshold coming loose, which was marked as damaged when we moved in. I would avoid renting through John's and Co unless you are willing to risk losing a big chunk of your deposit for unreasonable things.

15th Jun 2026 (4 days ago)The experience was good as far as the agent's work and effort goes and the very high number of visits it hosted (49). Also, Andrew always had a cheerful and positive attitude and responded promptly to my enquiries. The market coverage was good since we got a lot of interest from the market. However the product turned out not to be positioned correctly since staging the property through the use of AI, per agent's recommendation, was not the right move as this only attracted buyers expecting to see a turn-key project and were disappointed at discovering the actual condition of the property. In other words the initial ad did not reflect the property appearance and was counterproductive since we got the wrong kind of buyer at almost every visit.. As a result there was only one offer out of as many as 49 visitors (a disappointing result) and the price I had to agree to was quite a bit less than both what I had expected and also what the agent had assessed the property to be worth initially before pressing me hard to reduce the price considerably. Therefore, I have mixed feelings about my experience though I am confident Truepenny's would do better in selling turn-key projects as opposed to houses needing work.

Heartfelt thanks go to Victoria Peters and Laurence Lai for their outstanding professionalism and patient guidance throughout the process of selling my Notting Hill apartment. A friend who has known Laurence for many years first put me in touch with Youhome and from my very first meeting I felt reassured I was in very experienced and knowledgable hands. That impression never wavered. Not only was the marketing of my apartment very professionally done, but throughout the conveyancing process both Laurence and Victoria were extremely helpful, calm, responsive and kind with Victoria always on hand to liaise with the buyer, smoothing the whole process considerably.

10th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)Fantastic letting agency, specialising in very special homes along the river - really great service from beginning to end with Leanna, going above and beyond over the Christmas break (despite the agency being closed!) to help us get through the referencing process and get moved in within a couple of weeks. Thank you so much, highly recommended (and I’ve met with a lot of lettings agents and had some very mixed experiences so that doesn’t come lightly!).
21st Feb 2026 (17 weeks ago)Visited Harrods recently and overall it was an okay experience, but not as pleasant as expected. The store itself is beautiful and iconic, with impressive interiors, luxury brands, and a wide variety of products spread across different floors. It definitely feels like a famous London shopping destination and is worth visiting at least once for the experience.<br>However, it was very crowded and at times felt overwhelming, especially in popular sections. Some staff were helpful and professional, but others seemed a bit distant or uninterested, which slightly affected the overall experience.
