17th Sep 2026 (1 day ago)Valuation was too high and we went ahead with it thinking we will get the best value but after 8 weeks we took matters into our our hand and reduced the price by 10% . A huge drop but the property was empty and we needed to sell it . You need to do a bit if research yourself before finalising the estate agent .

2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)I cannot praise and recommend Scriven & Co Quinton enough<br>We couldn't be happier with the service we received from the team, especially Lauren, the service she provided us from beginning to end was absolutely amazing and made what could have been a really stressful process feel so much easier<br><br>She was very professional, very friendly and so approachable, nothing was too much trouble, in fact it got to a point where I would rather deal with Lauren than speak to the solicitors we had appointed<br><br>A huge thank you to Lauren for everything, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scriven & Co to anyone looking to sell their house, unless Lauren moves on to pastures new ..... haha<br><br>So if you are looking to sell your house look no further, Lauren at Scriven & Co is the right person for the job

Dean Grove came out to give us a valuation and tell us about their services, he was helpful and knowledgable and all round a great guy. They were efficient with organising viewings and sold our property within a week for full asking price. The team in halesowen have been wonderful and i could not recommend them enough!

15th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Extremely disappointed, we had arranged a viewing and a time today, and we reached outside the property had to come quite a distance, and they refused to pick up any calls didn't have any agents available and after waiting 40 mins and being forwarded to voicemail I had no option but to leave. Avoid these property agents they are extremely unprofessional and do not care about other people's time

Their marketing and photographs were excellent, they achieved the price we wanted and kept us up to date throughout the entire process. Very pleased indeed and thoroughly recommend Jake and his Team.

If you want a stress free easy sale this is the Estate Agents to go to. I really truly can not thank and praise them enough. The lady I dealt with was always on the ball. Pushing things through . Going the extra mile. I actually will miss the interaction we had together . Lauren (the beautiful lady) who was assigned to me is marvellous. I hope this helps some one make a wise decision if they need to sell. Use Taylors Estate Agents. 20th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with this estate agency as a buyer.<br><br>I initially found the agency to be very accommodating and helpful, so it was a real shame that during the later stages of the process I felt the communication became unnecessarily accusatory and lacked the professionalism and neutrality I would expect from an estate agent dealing with both sides of a transaction.<br><br>After a lengthy conveyancing process, I ultimately decided to withdraw from the property purchase. My decision was made 3 days after receiving the lease and the Report on Title. I could not have reviewed these documents - and therefore come to my decision - any sooner.<br><br>Whilst I completely appreciate that this would have been frustrating for the seller, I was extremely disappointed with the way the agency communicated with me when the transaction was taking longer than anticipated. I was forwarded correspondence directly from the seller expressing her frustration about the transaction. I felt there was no need for this to be passed directly to me and found it incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional.<br><br>When I explained that I had found this uncomfortable, rather than acknowledging my concerns, I felt the subsequent communication became increasingly focused on explaining everything the seller had done to progress the transaction and attributing responsibility (largely to me!) for why the transaction had progressed slowly. The steps the seller had taken to progress her own sale were not something I felt needed to be presented to me in this way....these are things I would ordinarily expect a seller to do as part of progressing a transaction with any buyer.<br><br>When I asked for the emails to me to be reviewed by someone more senior, I was told that the seller is the agent's client. Of course I understand this, but I don't believe it justified the manner in which the agency communicated with me. Unfortunately, I also felt the director's response largely missed the point of my complaint. Rather than addressing my concern about the tone and nature of the communication I had received, the response again focused on defending the seller's position and detailing where responsibility for delays lay. This was precisely the type of communication I had raised concerns about in the first place.<br><br>All in all, the estate agent unnecessarily involved themselves in assigning blame and relaying personal frustrations. In my view, this goes beyond what is necessary or appropriate for an agent's role.<br><br>As a result, what had initially been a positive experience was really soured by the way the later stages were handled, which is a shame.

Her dedication, professionalism, and constant communication made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. 14th Sep 2026 (4 days ago)I would not recommend Oakmans based on my experience.<br><br>I moved out of my property on 28 August 2026 and completed the checkout process properly. I handed my keys back in person at around 9am, the keys were scanned and photographed, and I signed the handover confirmation. I also completed and personally handed in the Deposit Release & Outgoing Services form on the same day.<br><br>Oakmans subsequently confirmed to me in writing that “the handover has been completed.”<br><br>My tenancy deposit is £1,125, and I have still received no clear update about when it will be returned. I have contacted them by email but have not received a response from the deposit team. When I called the office, I was told that deposit matters could not be discussed over the phone.<br><br>What is particularly frustrating is that I have followed the procedures Oakmans themselves provided, yet I am being left without any information about my money.<br><br>The new tenants have already moved into the property, so I expected the checkout and deposit process to be dealt with promptly.<br><br>Very poor communication and customer service. I simply want a clear explanation of the status of my £1,125 deposit and when it will be returned.<br><br>I would strongly recommend keeping written records of everything if you are renting through Oakmans.
