3rd Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
29th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)one of agent named called yasmin howe is very rude and arrogant. also they hold my holding deposit and has not been returned yet. and still waiting please go for other agent and dont risk your money other agent ask holding deposit after ur offer accepted but this one ask holding deposit **before ** offer accepted and they hold all possible tenant money and dont return them until u ask them ragely save ur time .and go for better agent .

Throughout those years, Jade has always been very patient with our queries and always speedy and productive with answers. She was also extremely helpful when our first tenancy ended unexpectedly when our Landlord wanted to sell. She found us a flat in the building next door and we got to move without any fuss at all. Saving what could have been a very stressful event. Very much appreciated all her help.
22nd Apr 2026 (13 days ago)I have worked with Alec Peduto and his team in Sales and Lettings for nearly 20 years. They have managed and sold properties for me including my own residential properties. I hold them in high regard and highly recommend them. I have used other local agents for both letting and sales over the years and frankly they do not compare favourably. Theydons are my strong recommendation for both sales and property management.
10th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Absolutely unacceptable level of service. I walked in today 10.04 as a potential tenant and was immediately met with a complete lack of professionalism. A staff member was casually eating and chatting while I stood there waiting to be acknowledged, with no greeting or even basic recognition. After several seconds of being ignored, I was finally noticed, but the reaction I received made it very clear that my presence was seen as an interruption rather than a customer walking through the door. That kind of attitude is not only unwelcoming, it’s outright disrespectful. If this is how prospective clients are treated on first contact, it raises serious concerns about how the business operates overall. The owner should be concerned about this kind of behaviour being displayed to potential customers. Needless to say, I will not be returning or considering this place further. First impressions matter—and this one ensured there won’t be a second.

13th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I had a very bad experience with this agency. Initially, the property was advertised for £2000, but after I agreed, the rent was suddenly increased to £2100. I was also asked to pay multiple deposits and advance rent, which I did in full. When I received the keys and moved in, the house was not ready at all. There were multiple issues—no proper electricity setup, no gas card, broken fittings, and unfinished repairs. Even though I was promised everything would be fixed, it took over a month after moving in to complete basic work. Later, serious issues like no heating and no hot water continued for months. Despite repeated complaints, the landlord failed to take responsibility and even asked me to arrange repairs myself, which is unacceptable when full rent is being paid. I gave proper notice and paid all rent up to my move-out date. However, now the landlord is refusing to return my deposit and is still making unreasonable demands. This has been one of the worst renting experiences I’ve ever had. Very unprofessional service, poor maintenance, and no accountability. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

Communication from Nest was top notch all the way through the sale, which at times was very frustrating due to sub par legal support....They remained very professional throughout with candid updates without the fluff. Everyone in the chain was kept up to date with cause of delay and next steps. My family have used them a few times now and cannot fault the dedication and service.....

3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Truly the worst service one could experience from an estate agent. John and Mariem were extremely unreasonable, obstinate and down right rude. Refused to request items from the landlord like removing furniture and allowing keys to be returned early at end of tenancy. Our boiler broke on one of the coldest days in winter and we had to quote the unfit for habitation act before they responded to my requests to send someone to fix.

14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)They sold a property (our next door) they left the signage right next to our car - it was clearly not installed properly - it fell over and damaged the paint on our car. We did speak to them and they passed us to the signage company - both companies are not happy to cover the cost of damages or provide insurance details for us to recoup our loss. They do not respond to our emails. Not very ethical company.

Our particular thanks go to Svetlana in Sales and Helga our amazing Sales Progressor who communicated along the chain so we didn’t have to. We definitely couldn’t have done this without Butler and Stag.
25th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)Avoid - rude, dishonest, would not trust as either a buyer or seller Signed up in person summer 2025 as a buyer. No info sent through in months. In December sent multiple requests via Zoopla for a viewing of one of their properties. No reply. Called main office. Finally get one email to arrange viewing; I reply six times and nothing. Physically go into office March 2026 (house is still on market / unsold) and get patronised rudely by a team member - "we couldn't prioritise you as a viewer" "this is how markets work" (thanks I've bought & sold two places before). Told me they'd book me in for viewing; no follow up. It's pretty clear they overprice houses that they don't sell - this one is still on the market as of end April 26 (it was reduced a full six months ago) which was confirmed by friends who live locally "avoid them, terrible reputation". I wouldn't want to partner with such poorly organised / low integrity agents to sell my place, or want to work with them on buying somewhere.
