He was extremely helpful throughout and went above and beyond when we hit a bump in the road taking it upon himself to sort a mistake my accountant had made. Even before the initial meeting with him he had done some research and really had a feel for what type of property we are selling and what the most likely buyers would be looking for. David has kept us informed every step of the way and provided really helpful feedback to help us find our buyer. We would completely recommend David to anyone selling their property.

They shared feedback and assisted the sale once we had a buyer by facilitating communication and giving sound advice. Most of the staff at Roy Brooks are female. I would recommend them.

14th Sep 2018 (7 years ago)Very poor experience with this office. Terrible service stemming from terribly poor management. I have had my offer accepted by the vendor nine (9) months ago and contract exchange has not yet taken place! Still ongoing. Branch manager Andrew Wallington who should be dealing with the project, continuously on leave and taking days off. Just a general lack of involvement. Even incompetence has its limits. I have had to personally chase for updates for the majority of the 9 months with Mr Wallington's colleagues, who of-course scarcely know what is going on. Finally, I have come to a position where I am forced to bow out. Having already raised this issue with the Regional Manager- Jacqui White. Her response was essentially it is a "busy office", there are no "notes on the system" to confirm [my] complaints and if you remain dissatisfied, refer your complaint to the customer relations manager. I will now be taking this up with the The Property Ombudsman. I certainly will not be contacting Haart for any further dealings and would recommend this office only as one to avoid.

I have been very impressed with the way they communicated with me before and after each viewing. I have received the feedback from the potential buyer soon after the viewing and was kept updated from the start to the end.
28th Mar 2026 (19 weeks ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

She had a key role in the transaction and actually made it happen despite a very delayed timeline and some unhelpful roadblocks in between - she was always available, and always trying to bring everyone and everything together, with amazing communication throughout and one clear focus on getting the deal over the finish line. Stellar job from her side I must say. Very glad she was involved and will happily go back to her for any future property endeavours!

Totally professional from initial contact with Oliver to completion (which took place in less than 2 months of the property going on the market). An absolute pleasure to work with: efficient, effective and hassle-free! A great team.

He was very lovely and even engaged with my son (about football ????????), when I brought him with me to collect my car. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
2nd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)"I highly recommend renting from them. Throughout my tenancy, they were incredibly fair, approachable, and respectful of my privacy. Any time an issue arise in the apartment, they acted immediately to resolve it. Moving out and getting my deposit back was also a completely smooth, stress-free process.
