16th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)We used proctors in petts wood to both rent out a property and then to sell. Nick made the process very easy. He found us fantastic tenants and made renting a simple process with no issues . When we later on sold the property he was fantastic. In fact the whole process just took a few months. He found a buyer quickly and helped explain anything to us that we did not understand. From start to finish proctors have been brilliant. And I highly recommend them for tenancies and selling| buying.

22nd May 2026 (28 days ago)We’ve been renting through Hotblack for the past year. The levels of service and communication have been outstanding. Estate agents often deservedly get a bad rap, this has not been the case here, Samantha J especially has been wonderful, highly recommended.

23rd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Winkworth were incredibly helpful throughout the process. The buyer and his solicitor messed me around forever at a difficult time for me. Without Winkworth 'on my side', I might well have given up and taken the flat off the market. They always took my calls, always followed up, always got back to me - that made the difference.
21st May 2026 (29 days ago)I am really surprised by this rate. This agency provides the worst service. Actually, it doesn’t provide anything, it just takes money from tenants. The houses are full of rodents, and pest control never visits despite all the complaints from tenants. The internet is not working properly, which prevents people from working from home. The food bin has been full for more than two months, and no one has taken it away. Where else should tenants complain to ensure basic safety standards are met? If nothing is fixed, I will upload photos so other people can see the conditions.

31st Mar 2026 (11 weeks ago)I had to keep chasing them . Over valued it by 50,000 then wanted me to keep dropping. No real concrete feed back . Very miss leading about offers instead of waiting for offers officially tell you one is been made to never materialize.
22nd May 2026 (28 days ago)Absolutely horrible, would not even refer them to an animal. After waiting nearly four months for an accept or decline decision on my offer no contact from Raj. He contacted me 4 times during this period and that was only in the month of February. Incredibly unprofessional and such a poor customer service.

Communication has always been straightforward, fast, and professional, which is something not always easy to find with estate agents. Any issue or query was handled promptly, and I always felt there was someone available who genuinely cared about resolving things rather than just passing matters around. The more personal approach of a smaller independent agency really shows in the quality of service. Friendly, efficient, and reliable throughout the tenancy. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking to rent through an agent they can actually trust.

24th Dec 2025 (25 weeks ago)I warmly recommend Philip and his amazing team. We sold our home, rented and then finally bought a new home in the space of a year all through Philip Wooller. Their knowledge of the local area, access to the market and advice are second to none. Robyn was hugely helpful, professional and knowledgeable through all stages of the sale and purchase, and Jen was absolutely lovely and so helpful in helping us rent a suitable property for the interim. If you are looking for a lovely home in Shepherds Bush, you need look no further.

28th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

They readily put me at ease and fully explained how the process works, given i was embarassingly clueless on many issues. They gave much needed, clear and concise information about current legislation, requirements and timescales, and kept me updated on progress during the actual lettings process. Definitely an above and beyond approach. Its given me the confidence to continue as a landord. I especially appreciate the fixed fee for clearly listed services that other companies either didnt offer or were 'add on costs'.

From our very first conversation, we made it explicitly clear that parking was a requirement for us. We were initially shown a property with parking, shown the parking area itself, and then shown another property which we were told also included parking. Based on those representations, we proceeded and had our offer accepted. Only later did we discover — via a WhatsApp message from the agent Katie — that the property did not in fact include parking and that we would need to rent a space separately. This was clearly material information and something we had specifically stated was essential to our purchase decision. We would never have proceeded had the correct information been provided from the outset. What made the situation worse was the handling afterwards. We were initially told compensation would be offered, but after querying the amount, the local manager Elliot called to say we would receive nothing because the issue had been discovered “early in the process” and he did not believe anyone had done anything wrong. The overall attitude felt dismissive and lacking in accountability. We were left having wasted significant time and effort progressing a purchase based on inaccurate information, and ultimately had no choice but to withdraw. Buyers should be very careful to independently verify all “confirmed” information provided during the sales process.

8th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)When i put my property up with Martin & Co. In Kingston. I told Manjit that I wanted to market my house fir interested developers as my house was a corner plot and had potential to build on to make a couple of apartments on it. Manjit got me the buyer’s I wanted, although it did take a bit of time due to planning permission etc. we got there in the end and I got the asking price I wanted. I am very pleased with the overall experience and would recommend anyone to give Martin & Co a chance to market their property to achieve their asking price. Good work Manjit and your team.
