As a landlord living far from my property, having a team I can trust to manage everything efficiently gives me complete peace of mind.<br><br>Clients are often quick to raise concerns, so I wanted to take the time to recognise and appreciate genuinely excellent service. 19th Feb 2026 (24 weeks ago)My experience with Latimer was alarming and left me feeling intimidated and unsafe. Communication was aggressive and hostile, and I was spoken to in a way I consider insulting, demeaning, and professionally unacceptable. The level of pressure and intimidation I experienced was so severe that I needed mental health support afterwards.<br><br>They attempted to keep my deposit using claims I dispute as untrue and unsupported by evidence. When I asked for everything to be handled properly through the formal deposit protection process (where the deposit is registered), they still obstructed and did not engage in a straightforward, evidence-based resolution. Instead, it felt like pressure and bargaining to make me accept deductions.<br><br>If you have paid rent in advance, be extremely cautious. Despite money already being paid, I was still told I “owed” the landlord. I was also given information about what I could and couldn’t do to escalate, and what “regulators say”, which did not match what I later found when checking official guidance myself — and it felt like this was being used to discourage formal escalation.<br><br>I escalated because this conduct cannot be ignored — they have to be dealt with through formal processes.<br><br>If you rent through Latimer, protect yourself: keep everything in writing, save every message, log every interaction, take dated photos/videos, keep inventories and receipts, and insist that any claim against your deposit is proven through the scheme’s formal dispute route. Based on my experience, the way this was handled fell far below what any tenant should have to tolerate.

10th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Terrible communication, we waited over a year for a repair, another time a random person was sent and not a professional to deal with infestation, or they ordered a new oven without even checking the size so when it arrived it wouldn't fit.. I'm so glad the landlord finally decided to cancel the contract with them.
17th Oct 2025 (9 mo. ago)Very disappointed, first they overvalued the property and told me in a matter of a fortnight I needed to reduce the price which I did, I then heard nothing for almost 2 months . Went to a different agent who sold the property within a week. When I looked at their marketing it was so much better and more professional than Bowyers. I do not like leaving negative reviews, however this reflects my experience with them.
6th Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)Having dealt with many estate agents over the last 6 months in an attempt to find the right property, it was a pleasure to find an agent who not only cared, but kept us permanently informed of the progress at every step. Even when we struggled trying to download various bank statements etc., they took the trouble to come to our property and spent 2 1/2 hours downloading documents for us. We were in constant contact with Sam Jamani and Matthew at the Worcestet Park branch. We would definitely recommend them to any landlord looking for an agent to act for them.
14th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)DO NOT trust this company if you are a renter. We moved into a flat with the stated intention of living there longterm, and as soon as we moved in, there were serious and major safety issues (exploding plug sockets, broken appliances, dangerous floor-level windows that opened to a sheer fall). Despite our intention to stay longterm, the landlord clearly had no intention of actually doing his job. He was slow and unresponsive on high-priority repairs, and the HSC staff were little help. He put the house on sale within a few months of living there, then issued a no-fault eviction notice, which rendered most of our time in the flat into a de facto show home. Aside from the general rudeness and incompetence of the staff, it is crystal clear to me that — if you are a renter — Hurford Salvi Carr have no interest in you, other than to siphon as much money out of you as possible. Avoid at all costs.
3rd Nov 2025 (9 mo. ago)I and a flatmate letted a flat for 3 years with no real issues. If anything came up that would require assistance with Fieldhouses response was always prompt and solved the issue we had. We never had any issues during our tenancy that they couldnt solve and I would say they were great in all aspects.
13th Oct 2025 (9 mo. ago)Sonia Estates could not wait longer than two weeks after my husband’s passing to start their plot to scam me. Informed me that minor repairs needed to rent after the contract expired. No deposit money given to me as they retained it! They ran up 8000 pounds( 12,000 pounds is what they demanded initially) worth of non existent repairs without my permission. When I disputed it, they secretly rented out my home and had no intention of informing me about it, nor of paying me rent!! They also had the secret idea of letting the home out to Capital Living who would charge us a commission, and Sonia would very kindly keep collecting another 7 percent commission too! This was only revealed to me after months of questioning Sonia Estates. They then threw away all of my furniture and asked me for an additional 15,000 pounds to furnish it again! So, they tried to make almost 27,000 pounds from the death of my husband! Sonia Estaes lied to the Ombudsman who accepted their lies that all of the above arrangements were agreed upon by me over a phony phone call! Even though I won the case, they were asked to pay me only 150 pounds! They now keep getting my Google review deleted!

Selecting Laurence Leigh Residential was an important decision for us as we were selling our family home of the past 18 years. Laurence provided excellent market colour while also listening to our views. We agreed upon a listing price and after receiving several bids accepted one that was within 5% of our listing price. Laurence and his colleagues Anne and Guy are an outstanding estate agency.

12th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.
