20th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)2020 9th Sept. Martin from CARSONS came to value our property in Northfield, Lightwater. "Realistic selling price £550k" (as we needed to sell quickly as we had our hopes on buying another property). 14th Sept photographs and plan completed 15th Sept, sales negotiators all came so they knew what they’d be talking about on accompanied viewings 15 Sept p.m. property went live Between the 17th & 22nd we had 14 viewings (+ another two 2nd viewings) we had 7 offers from 4 parties. We accepted final offer on the 23rd and completed in December....... Well done CARSONS. Comparing that experience when two years earlier we were tied in to a 22 week contract with another Estate Agent who falsely raise sellers hopes of achieving a higher price than they’d originally expected (presumedly to get the contract) and saying they had many viewings lined up = 3 in three weeks and 5 in six weeks! Suggested reducing the asking price by 5% after three weeks (a very common practise for them). Contract selling fees incorrect and sale board not erected for weeks. Their staff didn’t know what they are talking about and repeatedly told lies .....And more importantly THEY DONT SELL THE PROPERTY WHEN THEY NEED TO....pretty rubbish really!

23rd May 2026 (28 days ago)Victoria and Amalia at McCarthy Holden were both brilliant throughout our search, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Amalia was incredibly proactive — constantly reaching out with properties she thought would suit us and quick to book viewings whenever we expressed interest. Always on it, always one step ahead. Victoria was a true standout. She came to value our property and, even though we didn’t end up listing with McCarthy Holden, she remained completely professional and continued to suggest and show us homes that fit our criteria without any hesitation. What really set her apart though was her warmth — she was always so kind and welcoming to our 9-month-old who joined us on viewings, keeping them entertained throughout. It’s the little things that make a big difference, and it didn’t go unnoticed. A fantastic team — professional, friendly, and genuinely lovely to deal with.

He successfully found us a buyer 4 days later so that we were able to secure a property we had seen. We are now in the capable hands of Kevin & the Solicitor they recommended & feel happy to go away for 3 weeks while it all proceeds. Many thanks for your guidance Ollie

Our property was chain which lead long delay ups and down throughout the whole process Most importantly communication was clear and timley and Steve he went always extra mile to make sure everything was handled efficiently. 29th May 2026 (22 days ago)Cannot recommend Te Koop Estate Agents enough. I had moved back to England at the end of last year and was finding it hard to find a property to rent for myself and my son. I must of spoken to most other agents locally before finding Te Koop so I can honestly say they are by far the best to deal with in every way. Frank was so knowlegable and helpful that I was through referencing and into the property unbelievably quickly. He has been so easy to deal with and has made what was a difficult to navigate process with other agents absolutely seemless and easy to understand in every way.
