From start to finish, he made what is usually a stressful and overwhelming process feel straightforward and completely manageable. What really stood out was how thorough and attentive he was at every stage. He took the time to explain everything clearly, guided me step by step, and made sure I always felt informed and confident in the decisions I was making. Nothing was rushed, yet everything moved incredibly efficiently. The most impressive part was how quickly he secured my mortgage approval. What typically takes up to 10 working days, Jafri managed to achieve in just two. That level of efficiency, combined with his professionalism, is genuinely exceptional. Having gone through the mortgage process before, I can honestly say I wish I had met Jafri the first time around. It would have saved me a huge amount of stress. This time, he took all of that pressure off my shoulders and made the entire experience feel smooth and hassle-free. 12th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)The Keyworth branch recently handled the sale of my mum's home. The price was very competitive and the service was excellent. Matt, Sarah, Harry and Donna were all professional and friendly. Matt saw the house to value it and explained how it should be priced to get maximum interest. He was right as we ended up with more than the asking price. The team managed all our viewings which saved us time and travelling. Communication was very good by Email and kept us informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend Keyworth branch of Royston and Lund for anyone needing to sell their house.
25th Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

I have tried other estate agents in the past and they have failed to deliver and won't be going anywhere else in the future. Total professionalism throughout and they go above and beyond especially Caroline and Kevin.

27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

Will kept us up to date with any offers and viewings, and gave great insight into final offers which enabled us to make an informed decision for final sale. Sam was amazing at showing viewings round, great local knowledge and really listened about specific house details. Overall the whole team have been wonderful and cannot fault their knowledge, listing or communication. Wonderful experience, would highly recommend

22nd Apr 2026 (12 days ago)After 6 months with another agent and loads of viewings but no offers, we switched to Creightons – and they sold the house within 2 months. That says it all really. Jackie was proactive, straight-talking and actually pushed things along when others were dragging their feet. Communication was spot on throughout and we always knew where we stood. Really impressed and would 100% recommend.
15th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)if i could rate 0 stars i would. communication is non existent until you have to go into the branch and speak to somebody in person. they have no problem reaching out when they want money though. staff are passive aggressive, condescending, and speak down on you just because you are a student. the whole "joint tenancy" contract is a complete exploitation of students and the agency refuses to help when there are any issues regarding lousy tenants, their morals and ethics are nowhere to be seen. there were several occasions where staff and handymen turned up to the property with no notice at all. this letting agency is nothing but money hungry. at the end of my tenancy i am being charged for £50 to remove a bag of rubbish, £50 to slide the tv back into its bracket on the wall, £55 to replace "mattress protectors" on the beds which were never even there in the first place when i moved in, £275 for a "deep carpet refresh" even though when i moved in the carpets were completely soiled and ridden with stains; they obviously charged the previous tenants the same carpet refresh, just to not even do it. when you eventually do get an answer from somebody at the agency, you will be told one thing only to be told another thing by somebody else when you contact again. not only is there no communication between yourself and the agency, there is no communication amongst them either. this letting agency is exploitative, money hungry, careless, and contradictory. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! EDIT: I have had the displeasure of renting with John Shepherd for the second year running, what a huge mistake. I don't know why I chose to rent with them again in the first place. Nothing has changed, communication is non existent unless the agency want to contact you regarding money. When you call you are told to put it in writing on an email only for it to never get addressed. When we first moved into this property, we didn't have working water for a whole week, meaning we weren't able to shower properly and having to literally fill up bowls and tip it over ourselves like we were living in poverty. We were told we would receive compensation for this, 8 months later and we've still received nothing despite contacting on several occasions. Before we moved into the property we asked for the garden to be cleared and surprisingly it was, however the 10 black bags of rubbish from this have been left in our garden for the duration of our tenancy again despite contacting on several occasions. We have had MULTIPLE contractors turn up at the property without a 24 hour warning, which is illegal by the way. I just know at the end of the tenancy they will also deduct extortionate amounts from the deposit with no good reason, the same way they did in my last tenancy. The way they treat tenants is honestly disgusting and their attentiveness to correct issues and upstand the law is non existent. If I could urge you to do one thing it's to stay away from this letting agency. I'm convinced all the good reviews are from either people they've paid or people working in the agency under a fake name.
