14th May 2026 (11 days ago)If you've ever wondered what "deep cleaned" means in estate agent language, it apparently translates to "bring your own mop and an entire day of your life." When we moved in, the place was so filthy that even the cleaning products looked like they wanted to move out. We spent a full day scrubbing it before moving our stuff in. The fun didn't stop there. Before we agreed to rent, we were told the property was £950 a month. Once we said we wanted it, the price suddenly became £1,100. By that point we had already invested time and effort, so we reluctantly accepted. It felt like a classic bait and switch. The boiler was broken from day one, in February, and when they finally sent an engineer, the agent acted as though he had performed an act of great heroism. All we wanted was a property that could produce heat, which seems like a reasonable expectation for £1,100 a month. We reported broken fence panels around 18 months prior to moving out, and those panels were still out there bravely clinging to life on the day we left. I think at this point they have become part of the local ecosystem. And to top it off, despite the EPC stating there was loft insulation, there was absolutely none. I can only assume it was imaginary insulation, very energy efficient in theory, less so in practice. Four months after moving out, we were still receiving viewing notices for the property. We can only assume we remained "current tenants" in their system, which makes sense, updating a spreadsheet presumably falls under the same priority bracket as fixing fence panels. If you're a tenant who wants an honest and dependable estate agent, or a landlord who's looking for an agent who actually looks after your investment, don't choose Comfort Properties.
21st Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)Goodwin Fish were responsive, attentive and professional throughout and straightforward and helpful in their dealings. They were confident in the service they were providing and I felt throughout that they were giving me an accurate appraisal rather than saying what they thought I wanted to hear. They were always on time, responded quickly and helpfully to communications from me- including altering times at short notice to suit me. The viewing process was well managed. The whole team made the whole process surprise-free and painless.

22nd Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)I once excellent company completely wrecked by its new owners. The company used to be very easy to communicate with, now its easier to communicate with the dead. They use to be polite, but Northwood regard tenants as an inconvenience. I had eight years of good experiences but the ninth is a mess, and its all because Northwood, the new owners, are terrible. It must have taken a lot of effort to transform a great company into one I am now writing a one-star review for on every platform I can find, but they managed it.

Helen Larkin and Beverly were Amazing , we had a lot of ups and downs selling ,nothing but things we couldn’t foresee ,but they were there every step of the way to help and reassure ,it would have been a hard time without them , so a massive Thank you !jane and family

She was professional, supportive, and kept us informed every step of the way. Her communication was excellent, and she managed any issues calmly and efficiently. We always felt she had our best interests at heart and worked hard to achieve the best outcome. We’re very grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone selling a property.

And hit the target date of completion without a hitch. Would highly recommend anybody to use ONP solicitors if you want a smooth transaction.

19th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)Everyone at the Estate Agency have been very helpful and informative. They have guided me through the process and have explained each step. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. They have made this part as stress free as possible for me.
2nd Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Great experience moving in. Suitable properties were disappearing as quickly as they became available. The team at Biscayne sent me a video tour when I asked from Scotland, before I could get down. They were flexible about the date I collected keys. The property itself is stunning. Beautiful inside and well maintained. I hope more properties like this in Bradford are brought to market for people.

12th Mar 2026 (11 weeks ago)I am writing this behalf of my uncle because he doesn’t speak English last year he rented a flat from these people they all so speak Turkish so my uncle paid them admission fees which by law they don’t have the right to ask him for admission fees but they did why because my uncle doesn’t speak English and he’s only been in uk for one and half years and then they asked him for weeks rent 2 months deposit again buy law they can only ask 4 week’s and when he left the flat they only give his one moths rent back said to him we only had one month deposit of yours horrible people

For some reason, she picked up the phone but didn't say 'Hello', and then pressed me for the full postcode of a property listed on Rightmove even though the agent hasn't listed it. She clearly struggled with English and simply fobbed me off. Woeful agents.
