The team at the Kelvedon Hatch office demonstrated an impressive wealth of knowledge, handling every aspect with professionalism and care. From capturing excellent photographs to marketing the property effectively and conducting viewings, their service was truly second to none. A special mention goes to Hayley, the sales progressor, who worked tirelessly to ensure the sale went through smoothly. An outstanding team of dedicated professionals whom I would thoroughly recommend.

7th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)I've been working with Martin & Co. for over a decade now, and I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. Throughout that time, they have been exceptional in managing my property and have consistently exceeded my expectations. They have always done an outstanding job of maximising the return on my investment, regularly securing top-end rental offers. On one occasion, when we experienced a leak from a neighbouring property, they went above and beyond to ensure that every penny we were entitled to was recovered through the insurance process. Just as importantly, they take great care in looking after the property itself. They ensure tenants treat it well, stay on top of maintenance issues, and deal with repairs promptly and professionally. Whenever problems arise, they are proactive in finding practical, cost-effective solutions rather than simply opting for the most expensive route. What I value most, however, is their honesty and integrity. Over more than ten years working together, they have never tried to push unnecessary work or expenses. Instead, they consistently provide balanced, sensible advice and look for the most effective solution. The level of trust they've earned means I can genuinely leave things in their hands without worrying. They also never shy away from hard work. Whether dealing with difficult situations, unexpected issues, or the countless details involved in property management, they tackle everything with professionalism and determination. A special mention must go to Miriam, who has been my primary point of contact for at least the last five years. She is an absolute credit to Martin & Co. — always on top of things, incredibly responsive, proactive, and a pleasure to deal with. No matter the issue, I know it will be handled quickly and thoroughly, and her communication is consistently excellent. She is also a genuinely wonderful human being (and the reason i am writing this review!) After more than a decade as a client, I can say without hesitation that Martin & Co. have made being a landlord significantly easier and less stressful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional, and highly effective property management team.

They were consistently professional, polite, helpful, and easy to deal with throughout my time in the property. Their communication was always clear and prompt, and they handled everything in a very efficient and reassuring way. Paul in particular stood out — when we made an offer on a property, he genuinely listened to our reasoning and clearly articulated our position to the vendor. Unlike some agents, he made us feel understood rather than dismissed, and it was refreshing to deal with someone who truly got where we were coming from. The team continued to proactively share properties that matched what we were looking for, staying engaged and helpful throughout. Although we ultimately purchased a property not listed with them, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mackenzie Smith — professional, friendly, and a cut above.

5th Jul 2022 (3 years ago)I vacated my property what is now 6 months, I continue to be ignored and left without my deposit. The behaviour is criminal and I would like to warn others before making the same mistake I did in dealing with this company.
8th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)The staff are extremely helpful and polite once in your home they treat it with respect and keep you informed every step of the way, The leader of the branch is Charlie King who leads by example and expects his team to match his enthusiasm,. After having my house listed with another agent for six weeks with very little action or communication. Charlie was sure he could sell my house in two weeks, but in all honesty it took them four days and that was because there was a bank holiday! The error I made was not using them as my first choice DO NOT make my error . use Balgores first.
