After switching to Herbert R Thomas, recommended by get agent, there were a number of viewings on the property and an offer made and accepted. Wish we had used get agent sooner as after switching it was sold within 6 weeks after being listed previously for over 15 months.

2nd Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)I had been with a different Estate Agent and had little interest, I changed to MGY and the team did a brilliant job. Photos and description were better, advertised wider, many more viewings and a successful purchaser. They’ve gone above and beyond.
1st May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Extremely poor service. Wasted months of my time not being able to close a potential purchase of a property. Given the current market constraints would have assumed an agent would at least get back to a potential buyer with a response to their offer……

Isobel kept me fully informed at every stage, communicated any issues promptly, and worked efficiently with her team of trades people to resolve them without any hassle or stress on my part. Bay Lettings thoroughly vetted my tenants, and they have proved to be excellent, giving me confidence in the quality of their screening process. The service has been professional, reliable, and well-managed throughout. They were able to reach a large audience. The only thing we would prefer is if they used all online platforms as at the moment they don't seem to use Rightmove.

As an international student in the UK, I was unfamiliar with the renting process and found many aspects of it quite confusing at first. Sean made everything so much easier to understand, guiding me through the payments, documentation, and every step of securing my flat. He was always available to answer my questions, made communication with the landlord clear and straightforward, and regularly checked in to make sure I was settling in well. We had used 2 other estate agents prior to instructing Jan and his team and it really was third time lucky. The sale was long and complex due to factors out of everyone’s control and due to living overseas this was extremely stressful however Jan, Mark and the wider team constantly communicated with us, always chasing the chain, acting proactively and always had our best interest at heart. I honestly cannot thank the team enough for helping us navigate our way through the sale and would highly recommend anyone that is looking to buy or sell to use Kelvin Francis. It didn’t always go to plan, which is to be expected when selling (& buying), but the communication throughout from both of them, & the whole team, kept me in the loop and I therefore had complete confidence in the Agent I selected while selling at a distance.

Even though they valued my property. Sporadic communication with us. Felt that our property was just placed on the Internet forums and left.

9th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Sold my house with One2One in February 2026. Initial valuation house appointment was fine as was the arrangement of the photographs of the house ready to market. From this point onwards it was all downhill. The expectation from the very start was that we were to show buyers around for viewings despite making it very clear from the outset that we did not want this. Once we made it clear that we wanted the estate agents to manage the viewings, we quickly learnt that their availability was scarce with no capacity for blocking viewings. In my view, it’s a tactic to get you to do your own viewings to save them the hassle and they can cash their part in it. All viewings confirmed by text and an email which was all fine. Once we finally reached a place where One 2 One would agree to block viewings they placed at least seven together on a Saturday which we were pleased with at this stage. On the day of the block viewings, no phone calls or communications from the estate agent beforehand so I didn’t even know the name of who was arriving and the agent had never seen my house before. I had to write out key features of the house for the estate agent. To no surprise they were late for the first viewing and I had to ring the office over and over to find out what was happening. Turns out they had booked viewings at a separate address for another seller before my block viewings. I did accept an offer in the days that followed and couldn’t wait to be done with them. The lady who contacted me towards the end of the sale was lovely and approachable but can’t say the same for any of the female staff members I spoke to throughout. I felt the need to write this review as I wished I went with a more reputable company so I could have received the service that we were looking for. I would advise anyone reading this to avoid this estate agents entirely.

After viewing the property I made an offer and with some gentle negotiation, had my offer accepted ??????. Allen and Harris always return calls asap when required so I'm not left in the dark.
