Always had fab tenants and kept updated to by the team . In latter years have also sold property as now wanting to retire and again have been kept informed on the process . I do not hesitate to recommend letting2sales to anyone thinking of letting or selling and thank Mike , Hannah and Sarah and Sue now retired for many years of great service thank you all .

On this occasion.ie thesale of my mother’s house they produced excellent price guidance,<br>effective promotional materials, and comprehensive viewing arrangements.<br>The selling price was sensibly pitched and a buyer was found with appropriate financial arrangements in place and the ability to act in a reasonable time frame . I am very pleased with the price obtained and the efficient progression of the sale.<br>I have no hesitation in recommending Thomas Wood to anyone contemplating a house move.<br>P. W Jones.

7th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)The property was previously on the market with a different estate agent but no offers were received. After switching to Herbert R Thomas, recommended by get agent, there were a number of viewings on the property and an offer made and accepted. Wish we had used get agent sooner as after switching it was sold within 6 weeks after being listed previously for over 15 months.

Within 1 day of going live I'd had a viewing and an offer.<br>It's a dauntung process when selling and buying a property, but the team were able to guide me through and have always been very helpful.

This was the first time that I had used Peter Mulcahy in Ystrad Mynach, my partner had used them on numerous occasions in the past and he was more than happy to use them again. If you are selling your property l would not hesitate to call them.

1st Sep 2026 (9 weeks ago)I am writing this review to warn other landlords considering Peter Alan for fully managed letting services.<br><br>My experience as a landlord with their fully managed service has been unacceptable:<br><br>1. Inadequate Property Oversight: Regular, thorough property inspections were severely neglected. When inspections did occur, they were superficial and failed to report obvious issues.<br><br>2. Property Damage Ignored: Direct tenant damage to the property was brushed off and incorrectly dismissed as "normal wear and tear," leaving me with the responsibility and cost.<br><br>3. Zero Communication & Ignored Grievances: Emails went unanswered for extended periods. Formal complaints regarding their poor management standards were routinely ignored.<br><br>4. Financial & Accounting Errors: Statements contained accounting inaccuracies, and fees were charged for services that were never requested or agreed upon.<br><br>5. Failure to Release Account: When I formally terminated our contract due to their fundamental breach of service duties, they refused to acknowledge the termination or cooperate with the handover to my new agent, continuing to attempt to issue automated demands.

21st Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)I would highly recommend buying/selling with Dawsons and to be honest I wouldn't use anybody else. The staff especially Olivia are absolutely first class so helpful and kept me updated from the very start! By going with a reputable agent it takes the pressure off a bit as selling/buying can be very stressful but with Dawsons you know that you are having a great agent! Highly recommend!!!

Their market knowledge, realistic pricing strategies, and tireless communication meant both properties generated serious interest and sold smoothly. They treated both sales with the same high level of care and urgency, keeping us fully informed at every single stage. An absolute standout service. Erin and Claire were absolute first class and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of moving or selling up.
26th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Called every day for a week to get tree branches removed from my garden (they took down two trees on their property next door), despite daily promises the big branches are still there a week after the trees came down.<br>** It's my landlord who is most annoyed, I'm just frustrated that I have not been kept in the loop/given updates. I was assured it would be done on Friday... A call to apologise and tell me the plans going forward would have been appreciated ??????

Communication was excellent no delays in responding to anything and everything their end was done so quickly, Their presentation skills for the advertising of the property was amazing. No faults at all, would definitely recommend using Louvain and Chloe if you are selling a property,

Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, especially when things don’t always go to plan, but Claire was always there to help, chase things up and keep me updated.<br><br>I really appreciated how approachable, friendly and supportive everyone was throughout the whole process. I never felt like I was just another customer, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about getting the sale completed.<br><br>Thank you so much to Claire and the whole team for all your patience, hard work and support. She was always more than happy to assist with any questions that I had & was extremely helpful for our first time buyers to help them with the process. We had a bit of a situation with solicitors, but Mel was onto them, chasing and efficiently got everything organised.<br>I would highly recommend Mel if you’re looking to sell your house!

Life threw quite a few curveballs our way, but Dane consistently turned those lemons into the most delicious lemonade! Dane's commitment was unwavering. He arranged and communicated countless viewings, always keeping me informed and up-to-date with feedback and responses. His professionalism was outstanding, and his communication was consistently excellent. I know I put Dane through his paces, and he earned every penny! What truly set Dane apart was his unique approach. I was genuinely touched by his hand-written letter, a personal touch you rarely see these days. And the tea bag he included? It made a truly delightful cup of tea! Honestly, Dane is the best estate agent anyone could ask for. I've already recommended him to my friends because I want them to experience the same 5-star service. It was a stressful experience at times as we had such a lot going on at the same time but we felt confident Donna had everything in hand behind the scenes for us. Highly recommended! 16th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Our experience with Peter Alan's Whitchurch branch has been a complete disgrace. They are incompetent at best and purposefully dishonest at worst. They created such a mess of the sale of our property, they encouraged us to sell our house at modern auction in conjuction with their colleagues in I Am Sold, who also have an appalling reputation for losing both buyers and sellers tens of thousands of pounds. Eve Pearson of Peter Alan and our Auction 'specialist' at I Am Sold encouraged us to put our house up for sale £50k under budget and then tried to gaslight us into believing this was a good deal for us. Then, Peter Alan staff will shove as many viewers through your front door as possible, knowing that this entraps you into owing I Am Sold an insane fee of 4.5% from the sale of your house, should you want to sell your house to anyone who viewed it through them, for 12 months afterwards.<br>We had a prospective buyer who wanted to buy our house outside of I Am Sold due to their horrendous reputation and so we challenged the fee stating that Eve should have informed every single interested person of these terms, prior to booking a viewing, and Eve said her colleague was responsible for this and was thorough with every person he spoke to before letting them view our house. We later found out from that buyer that this colleague was brand new to the company and not only did he have zero conversations with the buyers ahead of the viewings, in fact the first time they ever spoke was when they met in person at the house viewing, but he even shared openly that because he was new to the company, he had no idea about auctions! Not only did Eve leave someone completely unqualified in charge of our property which she was supposed to be dealing with herself, but she then threw him under the bus to cover up her own mistakes.<br>While we've escalated our complaint to the Connells Group, both about the catastrophic handling of our property AND the sheer lack of integrity of the staff at Peter Alan's Whitchurch branch, we know that Peter Alan and the Connells Group are one organisation and therefore are incapable and unwilling to admit any wrongdoing. As such, we've had to escalate our concerns to the Property Ombudsman as we are alarmed by the gross misconduct perpetrated by the staff. I would strongly recommend avoiding Peter Alan at all cost to save yourself the dire consequences of their inept practice. Peter Alan wasted 3 months of our time, destroyed the value of our property and then just expected to quietly walk away and leave us to deal with the mess they created.
