15th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)A very positive remortgage experience with Preeti and Richard<br><br>I don’t usually answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise. However, one day when I had some free time, I decided to answer one. The caller introduced herself as Preeti, and when she mentioned remortgaging, it immediately caught my attention because I was already researching better rates for my home and two rental properties.<br><br>Preeti clearly explained why she was calling, what the company did and how it could help. Her friendly, confident and reassuring manner immediately put me at ease and gave me confidence that she understood exactly what I was looking for. She answered all my questions, made the conversation enjoyable and quickly arranged an appointment with a financial adviser. She then sent the confirmation straight away.<br><br>I later spoke with Richard, who was equally helpful. He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He explained everything step by step and in a clear, logical order, which made it much easier to understand.<br><br>My experience with both Preeti and Richard has given me a very positive impression of Bairstow Eves. Receiving the same high standard of service from two different people says a lot about the company to be honest. I am very pleased that I decided to answer that unexpected call and have also arrange a call 3years down the line when the remortgage expires. :-)
17th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Outstanding service from Charlotte Micallef and the entire Beresfords Upminster team!<br><br>I honestly cannot recommend Charlotte Micallef and her team at Beresfords Upminster highly enough. Selling a house can be incredibly stressful, but Charlotte went so far above and beyond for myself and my family that I genuinely felt like she cared about us, not just about selling a property.<br><br>We found a house we really wanted, which meant we needed to get our own property on the market as quickly as possible. Charlotte absolutely delivered. She was working at 11pm and was back in at 6am, making sure everything was sorted so that our property could be ready to go on the market the very next day. That level of commitment and work ethic is exceptional.<br><br>Charlotte works incredibly hard and is a true asset to Beresfords. What also really stood out was how highly she spoke of her team and having dealt with them, I can completely understand why.<br><br>Josh in particular was fantastic. He worked incredibly hard, and it was clear to see how well Charlotte and Josh work together as a team. The other members of staff were also brilliant, keeping us in constant communication, providing feedback promptly and making sure we always knew what was happening. The whole team worked together brilliantly.<br><br>I actually chose Beresfords because of Charlotte. She spoke so highly of Beresfords and her team, and it was genuinely refreshing to hear someone speak with that much pride and belief in the company they work for. But, as we all know, when choosing an estate agent, you ultimately choose the person, not just the company and I chose Beresfords because of Charlotte Micallef.<br><br>If you are looking to sell your house in Upminster or, to be honest, anywhere call Charlotte Micallef. She is absolutely amazing, she gets the job done, she genuinely cares, and she has a fantastic team around her.<br><br>It is very easy to see why Beresfords are regarded as number one in Upminster and across Essex. Charlotte, Josh and the whole team were outstanding from start to finish.<br><br>Thank you, Charlotte and the entire Beresfords Upminster team. You were brilliant!

6th Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)From the initial engagement, advice on house preparation, viewings, offers and eventual sale, Chesters Estates are the ultimate professionals.<br><br>We had a very quick sale and no issues at all. Communication was excellent and they completely owned the process, liaising with the buyers, conveyancing and myself, keeping me informed at every step.<br><br>We got a fair price for the property and Chesters' own costs were very reasonable too.<br><br>I would highly recommend Chesters - A++++.
27th Aug 2026 (22 days ago)They started so well. Had a fantastic first meet. Gave me a valuation above what I was expecting. I decided to go with them. When they turned up to take photos, again I was very impressed. The brochure was fantastic as was the listing. After that, it was downhill. I had to chase for the EPC and to actually pay them for it. I had to chase to get the board up outside. It’s still there now. I chased them after the first few weeks of being live. Spoke about the price. They said it was maybe too high. Funny as I had listed £10K below there valuation . So I dropped by £10K. After another month or so, I then again chased them for updates. Again they mentioned about dropping the price. I’m already £20K below their estimate. Well I was not impressed and decided to give notice. I did everything they asked. I had to chase that they had received as I had no confirmation. Very frustrating.

27th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)We requested a valuation. The person who came to visit our property was despondent and showed no interest what so ever in our questions. We were given no information on how the estate agency works the fees. Just a pamphlet show similar properties sold in our area. These were from other estate agents, so the moment they left I arranged for them to visit. Already had fabulous service and communication from the other estate agencies. Awful. Would not want them selling my property. Total lack of enthusiasm and information.

They were very good at arranging viewings for when they were convenient for us. They called us to change the marketing strategies when the house hadn't initially sold so we felt they knew what they were talking about to sell our house.

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
