I am based on the west coast of Canada and I was concerned that the 8 hour time difference might be a challenge in keeping the process moving but I neednt have worried. They were highly professional, great communicators, responded promptly to my messages, and kept me fully informed at every stage of the process from start to finish. I would highly recommend Krystle and her team.

26th Nov 2021 (3 years ago)A dreadful company. Friends of mine lived in a mouse and rat infested property for 12 months and they did NOTHING to rectify the situation. Quick to take money off tenants and yet are nowhere to be seen when you need support from them. Slippery characters

1st Jun 2022 (2 years ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

9th Apr 2025 (14 days ago)No communication at all from them. They are a company that only care about money. Have previously had to get council health and safety involved for them to do something. Have sent not gas safe engineer to cap gas. Now fighting to get deposit back. Don't bother using them.

19th Sep 2024 (7 mo. ago)Direct Housing take advantage of students, providing abysmal customer service and scam money wherever they can. I rented a shared house for a year and the state it was in was disgusting. Not having many options, I chose to live there on the promise that it would be clean by the time I moved in. This was a lie, the worst was gone but it was the bare minimum. Throughout the year, many issues arose, the worst of which was sometimes when the hob was turned on, the power cut needing the fuse to be switched. This and the other issues were never fixed all year despite asking many times. One time we were stuck because the fuse was in a room of a tenant away for the weekend. There was no compensation. At the end of the year, they handed the property to another estate agent, needing it to be presentable. We gave it back in a significantly better state than we had received it yet we were handing with a huge cleaning fee taken out of our deposit. Avoid renting from this malicious organisation as much as you can.
