22nd Aug 2024 (16 weeks ago)The whole team at Curtis Cooke were superb throughout the whole process of selling the property for which I was an Executive. Professional, supportive, excellent communication/liaison between parties. This was the 2nd house they had sold for me and I wouldn't choose any other agent. Highly recommended.

29th May 2020 (4 years ago)I have used the services of Carter Jonas in both Cambridge and Suffolk. They have repeatedly delivered excellent professional service when the markets have been both buoyant and not. They go the extra mile and are incredibly accommodating. I only once used another agent who over promised and then under delivered. I changed to Carter Jonas again (they were very gracious) as a result I had a buyer within days of the instruction.

2nd Nov 2024 (6 weeks ago)Had an appointment to view an apartment at 4:30 on Friday and had received 2 text messages from Abbotts confirming it, waited for half hour and when called them was told they'd given the keys to another estate agent and weren't coming out to the viewing. I'd travelled up from London specifically for the viewing and it was booked several days before. Was told they'd handed the keys over the day before so why didn't you bother to call or email me and let me know you were cancelling my appointment?!?! A three hour wasted return trip from London - this is absolutely disgraceful. Was then told they would arrange for the following day and would call me in the morning but no one could be bothered to call.
7th Oct 2024 (9 weeks ago)My property has been managed by Martinco for over 5 years. During this time they have sorted out any issues, made excellent recommendations and found good tenants. Particularly in recent months we have had a great deal of assistance from Shaheen, who not only has managed to find good local resources for updating the property but has always been at the end of the phone to advise and help.
15th Dec 2023 (11 mo. ago)I met with 3 estate agents and all were professional and offered a similar valuation. What made Pocock and Shaw different was Piers local knowledge and that they offered a 2 week withdrawal from using them. We did not need this as we had an offer within 2 working days of the listing!

Emily is incredibly dedicated, enthusiastic, and an excellent communicator. She has a deep sense of empathy, and after carefully analyzing my needs, she recommended homes that were perfectly suited to me. I was truly touched by this, as it felt like she was really standing in my shoes, doing her best to find the most suitable property for me. 31st Jul 2024 (19 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

The property was marketed quickly and they listened to my feedback about how I wanted the advert. They were able to be responsive with organising viewings quickly, and their strategy for getting the best price was really effective. They were good at communicating and respectful to my tenants as I wasn't living nearby. They also managed some difficult communication from my buyer and helped make sure that the outcome was good. Many thanks too all three of you for your help and support during what is undeniable a stressful process! Sophie
