2nd May 2025 (7 weeks ago)I had an exceptional experience with Ashton White while renting a property in Billericay for 2.5 years. From the beginning, they made the process of finding and moving into a great property incredibly smooth. Throughout my stay, their team was consistently helpful and responsive. There was one instance when I locked myself out, and Ashton White's response was immediate and reassuring. I called them, and Chris arrived quickly to assist and arranged a spare key, saving the day. Whenever I needed assistance, whether it was a maintenance issue or something more urgent, they were on top of it. They were quick to send an engineer and handled replacements for essential appliances like the washing machine and fridge without any delay. Dawn and Chris, in particular, were fantastic and always ready to help. The process of moving out was also straightforward and stress-free, a testament to their excellent customer service. I'm truly thankful and grateful for the outstanding support Ashton White provided during my time in Billericay. Highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a reliable and supportive letting agent! Thank You xxx

31st May 2025 (17 days ago)Service was wonderful at first in my sales process -listing the house, great photos, board up promptly. But as soon as the house was under offer, the service fell off a cliff. The estate agents representing the house I'm buying can't get hold of CDC, even for urgent queries, so come to me. My buyer had a survey 6 weeks ago which sparked a bit of renegotiation. This could have been relatively straightforward with prompt communication but over a month of chasing CDC and we're no nearer resolution (and almost every time I call I speak to a different team member who is now covering it with no idea of background or what is going on.) I've tried establishing deadlines - those Im buying from are getting nervous- but these are ignored. I've told them since I've signed a gazeal for my purchase I need to keep moving forward, but this is ignored too. I dont know if its lack of capacity, or competence, or simple disinterest, but their inability to offer the most basic support is pushing me to the point where I'll have no choice but to walk away from an advanced sale and start again. I'm only hanging in there because were got so far down the line, and its not the buyer's fault. But that can't go on forever. I genuinely feel this process would have been less stressful and moved more quickly had these estate agents not been involved at all. Such a shame.

6th Jun 2025 (11 days ago)Andy & the team at Temme English was faultless. I’ve recently begin refurbishing homes and will certainly be using these guys again. Firstly I had Andy over to guide us of the local market and his knowledge of the area is unmatched to every other agent we had round, he knew the road and property inside out. He valued it at market price and took professional pictures and marketed it to a five star standard. You know what follows next we sold it within 24 hours! The aftercare that followed was the same level of service Andy showed, chasing solicitors, mortgage brokers etc we really had an amazing experience with Andy & the team. It really is no surprise they are the top selling estate agent within Wickford int he last 5 years now, a true gem of an office.

She was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, which made it easy for us to make an offer on the property and the offer to be accepted the next day. As a relocation agent, I really appreciate this level of ease when negotiating deals - it's not always this way! I look forward to working with them again with future clients :)

The sale took longer than expected, and the eventual price achieved was less than forecast. However we acknowledge that this was a property with potential, but requiring considerable modernistion, so would have appealed to a limited audience. Our 5* rating was in no small part due to Amy Lillistone, the Oakheart Sales Progressor, who did a brilliant job "chasing the chain" to ensure that completion was effected before the increase in stamp duty.

A great asset to the team. Knows her stuff and has been a great support throughout the process. I was worried about moving home and the stress it can cause, but this was pretty much stress free. Highly recommend
