They gave us lots of valuable advice throughout and were always readily available to discuss any issues that arose. We would have no hestitation in using them again.

27th May 2025 (25 days ago)I'd needed to make a claim (upheld by the Property Ombudsman) against another local estate agent, who had dragged out and delayed this 2019-20 (probate) sale, in order to favour their buyer. After the above delay and attendant loss of several potential buyers was stopped in its tracks, with Miles & Barr being appointed to clear up the mess, they delivered a sale (and with yet more delays around the rent-a-roof solar panels installed by our parents - but they got there in the end), albeit at a lower price than we'd initially hoped for.
12th Nov 2024 (7 mo. ago)Excellent and highly professional service. We were seeking a rental property and viewings were arranged quickly, with a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff (Phoebe) in attendance. We liked the house, so applied for it ... 12 days later we moved in !
26th May 2022 (3 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

21st Apr 2025 (9 weeks ago)We would not reccommend Burnap and Abel in Dover. Booking viewings was straightforward and quick but when we decided to make an offer for one of their properties we were pressurised into speaking to their mortgage advisor. The mortgage advisor was not knowledgable and he insisted that in order to make an offer for a house we needed to have an appointment with him, disclose our financial information and receive his advice. He also insisted that we need a full mortgage offer from the bank and that an agreement in principle was not sufficient, which is, of course, incorrect. The bank confirmed that this was not possible and that they can only provide an agreement in principle in the initial stages of putting in an offer. Only once an offer has been agreed can buyers begin a formal mortgage application which takes around 2 weeks to get processed. Customers are free to make their own decisions regarding whether they want to use the estate agents' mortgage advisors and aggressive marketing techniques such as these give estate agents a bad name. In the end, we bought a house through another local estate agent who were kind, honest and professional.

The team are ultra efficient and professional, whilst always keeping us informed along the way of the sales process. Would recommend highly.
15th Sep 2022 (2 years ago)The staff are all very professional, and are very willing and able to address your concerns as the lines of communication are always open - so important in leading the seller through the legal labyrinth. They were also extremely helpful to my buyer which made the whole transaction as stress free as possible. Friendly advice, good local knowledge, good communication and professionalism- everything that you need in an estate agent and everything that Jenkinsons in Deal provide.

All three were excellent throughout what turned out to be a rather tricky sale. We always felt they were working really hard for us and helped speed our sale through before the end of the stamp duty holiday, at a time when presumably everyone else was trying to do the same thing! We were very grateful for Daryl's clarity of thought and reassurances when we reached sticking points or had moments of uncertainty. Thank you again, we couldn't be happier in our new home!
