Process when we bought the house was very simple from a Peter Clarke side with deposit returned quickly after the process concluded and no additional paperwork required our side.

Ginny and Tom have been fantastic not only with the sale of our property but with the purchase of a property through themselves. I would highly recommend Vaugh Reynolds.

The help and services provided to us have been first class and enabled us to achieve a sale at the agreed asking price. We are particularly grateful for the professional advice we were given at the start of the process over preparing the house for sale which was then followed up with really helpful advice on viewings and the processes for agreeing the final sale of our property. 27th Apr 2024 (1 year ago)Not impressed with my experience as a potential seller or purchaser. Would give them a lot less than 1 star if it was possible. We had a valuation over a month ago, agent could not give us a valuation at the time and had to speak to her boss and heard nothing since. Really odd since they had sold another almost identical house 2 roads away away 2 or 3 weeks earlier? When queried during my potential purchase viewing was told they had e-mail issues I can only assume they did not have a phone, clearly they didn't want the business? Thankfully we booked 2 valuations that day and chose the other agent who not only gave us a valuation whilst he was here we were also given more confidence in the service on offer. It was the right decision as we sold in a week, but the one shipways sold took about 3 months or so. I made an offer as a purchaser which was increased as I was told by the agent it would be accepted. Then I was asked to increase further so it would be taken off the market as I wasn't sold but they knew this when the offers were made, and it was even on the offer email. A couple of days later when I was sold and after a week of being given the run around by the agent who would be in meetings, viewings and other calls when I tried to contact her I decided to withdraw my offer as could no longer trust what I was being told. Whilst I understand they have to be led by the vendor honesty and trust should be integral to any negotiation. Not sure how you would know the sellers thoughts and movements if you can't contact them?

We couldn’t have asked for a better mortgage advisor for our daughter who is in the process of purchasing her first property. He has gone above and beyond to make the process as smooth as can be. He is very efficient, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. He has such a lovely energy about him too which has made us feel at ease during each appointment. Would have no hesitation in recommending Connells to sell your property.

From the outset Adrian was polite helpful and most importantly knowledgeable about the market place, the site my van was on and how best to sell. Would highly reccomend this company, they sold my van for over 18K more than the site offered me, couldnt have been more please with the company, and service we recieved from Adrian - would highly reccomend

31st Mar 2025 (7 weeks ago)In the middle of Lock down and Covid i was selling two properties and buying a new build. I've found the service and the communication to be exemplary. I was kept constantly informed of all progress. Jeremy himself helped me a great deal with various complications in the transaction that occurred with both the building of the new house and the legal side of the transaction. I have continued to seek advice on further property matters since and I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone buying or selling. I certainly see them as 'trusted advisors'. Great service.

He helped us every step of the way from sorting handymen to deal w minor issues, to securing our necessary paperwork, to finding the ideal buyer. We were dreading a months long process but have solid offer in <1 month! I can’t praise him enough!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He was very enthusiastic and gave us great confidence. The process from marketing to sale was straightforward, and Marco worked well communicating between us and our buyers. The rest of the Charles Rose team we spoke to were always friendly and helpful. We would recommend!
