3rd Dec 2025 (13 days ago)Our experience with J Lord from start to finish was exceptional! We had seen the property online and got in touch straight away with a viewing sorted for the following day. We made an offer and even though there were other interested parties, we were kept informed over the coming days about what was happening. Our offer was accepted and from that moment the service continued to be as efficient. We had weekly contact from Mollie who was progressing the sale and bringing together the other estate agents and solicitors in the chain. Although the chain was relatively small, it was still stressful for us but J Lord took alot of that stress away with their experience and professionalism. We were only purchasing through J Lord but I honestly don't think the completion would have happened as quickly as it did if it wasn't for them. Always available and always had the answer! Thank you for taking away some of the pain of buying a house and getting us in before Christmas!
5th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)From first meeting Michael from Fisher German at valuation stage and then Joshua at negotiation stage supported by Toby we were so impressed with their skills and communication which concluded with a successful and speedy outcome. No hesitation in recommending Fisher German.
24th Nov 2025 (22 days ago)The biggest waste of money I have ever spent, why are estate agents more expensive than solicitors? Walking in the Nantwich office is awkward, nobody looks up and addresses you until they are ready. Calling the office goes straight to answer phone, prospective buyers complained they couldn't get through to book an appointment. Floor plan wasn't even included in the price and isn't really needed in that detail. Just thankful I won't be using them again.
21st Feb 2025 (9 mo. ago)We bought a property from Cheshire Lamont and found them to be very helpful and professional. They provided good information about the local area during viewings, were good to communicate with and helped move the whole chain along.
13th Aug 2025 (18 weeks ago)It was a pleasure to deal with Helen Thomas at Fisher German in relation to our renting a house. The whole process of applying for a tenancy, viewings and dealing with the organisation of a lease can be very stressful but Helen was extremely helpful and made the process as easy as it could be. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the services of Fisher German.

25th Nov 2025 (21 days ago)In my experience, they have not been a reliable estate agency. I would advise landlords to avoid giving them properties to manage, as payments were repeatedly delayed even when tenants paid their rent on time. Please be cautious if you wish to avoid potential financial complications.
4th Sep 2025 (15 weeks ago)No comms once we signed on the dotted line. They sent people in to view who couldn’t afford the house. We had to take people around as the agents that attended didn’t even know the number of rooms the property had.
9th Dec 2025 (7 days ago)From this branch, to the overall ‘countrywide’ who manage end of tenancies, I’ve only had unpleasant, negative encounters. That is if they actually bother to answer their phone or reply to your emails. They only engage if it benefits them. I have been renting for 10 years (two years with this agency) so I know very well what great agent/landlord experiences can be like. This agency enables greedy landlords, and will allow them to increase rent at very short notice, to unreasonably high rates. Six weeks before our tenancy was due to renew, we were told we either had to sign 12 months contract or risk our rent being increased. The worst of all is that they failed to disclose the fact that the landlord lives next door to the property we were renting. Very disappointing experience.
2nd Oct 2025 (11 weeks ago)Very little contact between Client and agents during the 20 week contract, no discussions or suggestions put forward by the agents as to how the property could be made more attractive to potential buyers, i.e price reduction, more advertising etc. We had 2 viewers in 20 weeks of which neither were a fit for our property.- 17th Nov 2025 (29 days ago)Lauren, mortgage advisor was amazing start to finish, very knowledgeable, will definitely use Lauren again at winsford branch, thankyou.
26th Sep 2025 (12 weeks ago)Agree completely with another reviewers that these people are timewasters who don't do deals fairly. Travelled 600 plus miles to view a property and was told I would be ahead of other viewers for taking the property, only for them to string me along for a week and then give the property to someone else who viewed it at the end of the week. No reason given just "preference" I have a feeling the preference in question is that I didn't want to take the no deposit option as when I said I'd prefer traditional the agent was clearly perturbed and asked several times if I'd go for the no deposit which they described as a subscription - which is misleading as it suggests you aren't liable for costs at the end of the tenancy (you very very much are), and you have fewer rights as a tenant, which they craftily ommitted when I asked for them to explain the scheme - this is purposefully misleading. Having spoken to others about leaders since my time, money and fuel has been wasted, the no deposit scheme is absolutely a sham and a money maker for them - I wouldn't be surprised if the agents earn commission hence a strong preference against those who don't want it. They could have been upfront that they didn't want me, they instead lead me on which lead to me losing housing security with another property. *edit* also notice how all the negative reviews get bog standard replies but all the good get personal responses, tells you everything you need to know

Josh and Clayton were excellent throughout: communicative, informative, and consistently going above and beyond, especially when navigating a particularly complex situation. Although the purchase itself was stressful at times, Josh and the team did everything they could to keep things moving and ease the pressure. 8th Nov 2025 (5 weeks ago)no help whats so ever every time I ask for a application I get told it already gone even tho I email soons it goes on as I have email updates on properties so basically they are just pushing my application to the side and picking and choosing their tenants even tho i don’t owe no arrest in the last 10year since I had my first property
10th Dec 2025 (6 days ago)One Agency have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish with the sale of our property. Efficient, clear and concise communication throughout the process. Quick responses to any questions and concerns along the way. Reassuring and supportive throughout the duration of the sale. Chasing solicitors for updates regularly. Our sale fell through initially due to some physical health issues with our buyer who pulled out, but One Agency went above and beyond to support us to sell again and arrange viewings, which was fortunately quick and successful. I would like to specifically thank Emma for all of the support along the way, she has been brilliant and I am so thankful for her knowledge, support and advice. Also a big thank you to Dean. I would definitely use One Agency again and happily recommend them to any one.
