3rd Aug 2021 (2 years ago)Selling homes has always been a stressful experience for me and this time was no different. But Anthony Pepe worked hard to get a number of viewings and once a sale was agreed kept the process moving and keeping me informed of progress.
16th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)I dealt with Karim when I first found this estate agency, and he was extremely helpful, with his team! Sam, their handyman is a sweetheart! I have found my second home as well thanks to Karim and I like the fact that he does reply on time and tries quickly to sort out whatever his tenants need. Ask for him, as he’s amazing!

14th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)I would not recommended to anyone thinking of renting from Chamberlains in Enfield. Sadly we we have to leave a bad review as we rented from them since 2017 and all was ok until we moved. the property was not in great shape when we moved in but it was habitable and convenient for us. We were never late and always paid on time and our yearly inspections were done and no issues. Sadly when one of the owners passed away the decision was taken to sell the property - they informed us and served us eviction papers which was actually quite insulting given our previous excellent history of renting from Chamberlains. We moved out as requested and did not think there would be an issue with getting our deposit back of £1700 but appreciated that it would take some time. The property was inspected by a female manager and once the house was empty emptied and Chamberlains were then saying we were not entitled to any of our deposit stating a whole list of complete fabricated things that needed doing. The property was very old - the kitchen probably dated back to 1980's and the carpets had all most likely been fitted in that period also. We then took our case to the Rent Guarantee Panel and discovered they had planted items around the house which were not ours - taken pictures and said that we had left things behind. Items planted were garden chairs, flower plants, cutlery, plates and various other items. We had lived in the property for 6 years and had always kept it cleaned and maintained. The moment the deposit was due back to us there was a problem and a big one at that. Very dishonest and underhanded to keep money from two very hard working people. This is why estate agents have such bad names and reputations. You may wonder why I have taken the time to write this -its is because we only received a small percentage of our deposit. i have struggled long and hard whether I should leave a poor review about our treatment and to prevent it happening to others. Yesterday my husband drove past the property and took pictures of a skip outside where the property has been stripped and completely gutted. My question to Chamberlains today has been where did our money go? Was this fraudulent as the property was not rented out again and has been completely gutted - I presume by a buyer? I would advise to check out the agents before you rent to avoid it happening to anyone else.

Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly approach made the entire experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Addison Townsend who stand out as one of the best in a saturated market and Stephanie in particular, for her brilliant level of service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
18th Jul 2021 (2 years ago)Having shopped here over many years, I recommended you to a friend whom I accompanied and was appalled by the lack of interest we received. I had to ask for assistance and upon the purchase by my friend of a sofa the person concerned showed little interest in the sale and sat behind her computer for the duration. My friend who purchased the sofa says he will not be returning to your shop. He was also quoted one price for delivery of £50 which on delivery was £85.

I am very satisfied with the performance of Fullers and the entire transaction is very smooth even I have to arrange the matter via email communication with Fullers overseas. Fullers is a very reliable, trustworthy and responsive estates agent and is highly recommended.

We first used Home Counties back in 2019 when we were purchasing our first home in Potters Bar. Richard kept us informed throughout the process, was always accommodating with multiple visits to the property, and supported us throughout the whole process. We recently engaged Richard again as we wanted our house re-valued under current market conditions. Again, Richard was extremely accommodating, visiting us at short notice, and promptly giving us a valuation. We have built trust in our relationship with Richard and Home Counties, who we feel are genuine and honest in their approach to helping their clients buy/sell homes. It can be a stressful process moving/selling, but having an experienced, well established, and honest team working for you is invaluable. We were kept informed of every development (often on a daily basis) and provided with excellent advice on how best to proceed. What could have potentially been a difficult and protracted sale went through very smoothly. We would 100% recommend Elsewhere and Bernard in particular.

JR Ripley showed empathy , kept us updated with market trends and realistic providing market evidence so that we were in a position to make informed decisions.
