18th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)I recently had a terrible experience with Hawes & Co in Wimbledon Village. I was dealing with Janine in the Lettings team and everything was going great until she left. I was supposed to move in to a property however Hawes & Co never sent me the tenancy agreement to sign and still hadn’t sent it a month and a half later! They kept telling me they would send it and made up various excuses about the landlord not having an email address etc but I never received it and in the end I couldn’t wait any longer as me and my child needed to move out of our current place so I asked them to return my deposit and they refused (even though this was their fault and they’d never sent me the tenancy)! I’ve tried raising a formal complaint but had no response and everyone I’ve tried to reach out to is now ignoring my calls and messages.
1st Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Was so happy with my service with them. Lilly especially has been fantastic right from the first phonecall I made to her right to this present day. All the team have been so helpful and caring and have continued to do so. Would highly reccomend.

20th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Without doubt, Martin & Co. provide a service that surpasses anything you could possibly ask from a Letting and Management Agent. The quality of care, professionalism and support is outstanding, both for Landlord and Tenant. Dealing with Reece and Ian has been an absolute delight. If I could give them more than 5*, I would.
20th Aug 2024 (29 days ago)We have just completed the sale of our house through Wills & Smerdon. The process was difficult and protracted which reflected the prevailing market conditions. However throughout the process we received good advice on pricing and market conditions together regular progress reports. The service we received from all the W&S staff in the Horsley office and particularly Chloe was excellent.

25th Aug 2024 (24 days ago)Damp moldy property that needs completely overhauling from black mold on the walls of all bedrooms and hallwalls leaking ceiling removal or fire doors on kitchen central heating not turning on rusty leaking radiators broken bedroom furniture no fire alarms live cables hanging and last tenants rubbish left in front and back garden absolutely disgusting accommodation rented to young students ps and wrong read meters reading given to them photos added
31st Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

29th Aug 2024 (20 days ago)Very poor customer service they over promise and underdeliver. They charge the highest fees of all estate agents and will not negotiate anything on their fees despite repeated misinformation.
13th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Ryan and the team were brilliant in helping us secure a flat to rent. When calling to enquire about a flat on a Friday afternoon the day before going away for weeks, Ryan made extra efforts to give us a viewing in his own time that evening so we could see it. After making a offer he pushed it through immediately and we heard we were successful very promptly the following Monday. Through the whole process Ryan kept good communication and was always professional and friendly. Really positive experience overall.

We received a hugely personable service - underpinned by genuine sincerity and a willingness to champion our corner as a buyer. Some of the other high street players in Guildford could certainly do with a lesson or 2 from Mel around relationship building and effective communication. Highly recommended...

16th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Not professional with vulnerable tenants with learning difficulties that could do with 1 to 1 support and struggle to figure out general new routine at their new address Numerous flat faults that have gone ignored besides fake promises to sort a filthy oven that no one could be bothered to clean when I moved In. Faulty communal door latch that I have been conveniently blamed for besides being advised by my family to just be grateful I have a set of keys and a flat and not complain so I listened not only that but having half my complaints laughed off prior of various preventable noise pollution and house parties til 4am, scaffolders playing music up full blast and yelling before 6am while I tried to hold down a job scrubbing loos by 7am and cleaning restaurants and washing plates and chopping food for hours trying to impress an already rude boss. I lost my job because of all the continuous noise and ignorant neighbours making great effort to heavy foot on my ceiling 24 hours a day even at 2 am 3 am it’s an every day occurrence and I have multiple sound recordings of such incidents I’ve had fake complaints that police have showed up at my door yet to this date I’ve neither been visited questioned or arrested for simply being lucky enough to bump into my two faced neighbours to make them aware I’ve always been kind and approachable only bothered by the endless noise I’ve never denied them the opportunity to knock my door or text me or tell me I’m bothering them in any way but they don’t talk to me and say I’m unapproachable make complaints and pass me off as possibly a risk to them and I may have argued a tad pissed off at the rumor spreading but I’m no thug or interested in attacking my neighbours I’ve received no text message or world of mouth instruction to not talk to them so there is no harassment case or broken law here as I have not been told to leave them alone at any stage. I don’t believe police have or ever will be turning up at my flat considering I have a pcso coward living upstairs who could easily nick me on or off duty if I breached any law of any kind Grow up ed wyngriffiths and grow a pair . The difference is I have the guts to talk to you while you sulk on the door step hoping I don’t dob in your illicit activities upstairs to Waverley borough council that provide you a car and job in policing Well eventually after your final back stab… I did and I’m not ashamed of it. You’ve cost my job and my home so why shouldn’t I want some justice myself They walk around so loud my walls and bath shake when I lie in it or sit at the table or on the loo I can feel them walking around and the noise is extremely repetitive all day and very distressing for me setting off my anxiety and causing insomnia which I have been diagnosed with But this is all before what masella have gone to court for I’ll just leave this here as it clearly upsets them to hear the truth. They don’t want to see my face and they’re still housing me for 2 months Cowardly behaviour. They don’t respect my money or the lengths I’ve tried to go to to make this place feel like home I’ve got a coke sniffing pcso that lives above me that can make as much noise as he wants and play loud music and jump on my ceiling and no one wants to believe me because of his job title It’s ok . Police officers haven’t ever lost their jobs for drugs or misconduct or fraud or failing the vulnerable or the countless other things have they. And I respect the police As long as he’s bringing in money you live in cuckoo land quite happily I won’t respect a self confessed traveller pikey druggie backstabbing fake friend house partying ceiling jumping alcoholic two faced cop! Some reviews from other people with much the same problems as me zero support not even a telephone call just constant sudden shock to find I’m being evicted for being vulnerable and putting up with too much noise that I paid good money to try and avoid experiencing on a council estate! Avoid these pirates

It has been a rollercoaster 8 months but she was fantastic; professional, clear and I have always felt put our needs first as well as having a laugh with us in good moments and being understanding in our more difficult moments. She was a star and I can’t thank her enough.
