28th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Looking further afield at where i want to live which reaches the right balance and unfortunately everything on offer is too expensive for my income. Its a sad state of the country which is not really FennWrights fault but they are part of the industry so they needed to know and when challenged on this some became upset and brazen about that's just how it is. 625, for a admittedly well decorated but E graded EPC bedsit above your shop just is not acceptable. For that price you could have provided furniture and all the other stuff and i stand my ground that a fair rent would be an annual yield of 3 to 5 percent. Especially as the original maisonette above had been originally i believe social housing scheme which and then you then became the managing agents of. Turning the 2 bedroom maisonettes into single units was crazy. Now i suppose someone is without a living room and i bet the rent is exorbitant. Especially as you are the owners of the block somehow. I guess its who you know at Tendring.

17th Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)I contacted Abbots last year to inquire about their services though chose not to pursue them. Since then I have been repeatedly contacted month-to-month asking if I am interested in selling with them, or arranging a mortgage. Each time I have informed them that I am no longer selling my property and requested that they cease contacting me. The calls have continued ceaselessly. Take a hint—I'm just not that into you!

They kept me updated all of the way through and kept chasing when things slowed down. If you asked them something they always came back with a reply, never had to chase them. Nothing has been a problem for them. I would like to, personally, give a shout out to Charlotte who was approachable and honest from viewing the property to liasing with the Landlord. 14th Sep 2024 (20 days ago)I had an appointment on September 13th at 2 PM to view a property organized by Whittley Parish. I informed the agent that I was traveling from London and would leave as soon as possible; Google Maps estimated a 90-minute drive. Unfortunately, due to several roadworks, the drive took over 2 hours, and I arrived 17 minutes late. When I called the agent to explain my delay, I was told that I had missed the appointment and should return back to London. Despite my efforts to reach them, the agent showed no concern whatsoever. there was no sympathy for the the inconvenience caused by the extended travel time. I was left feeling extremely frustrated by the lack of professionalism and empathy. In my opinion, and being friday the 13th, Lindsey needed to get back to her cauldron and could not make any exceptions. It’s disappointing to have had such a negative experience with Whittley Parish. I plan to share my experience on social media to highlight how unprofessional their service was.

16th Sep 2024 (18 days ago)Really hopeless when it comes to getting viewings for rentals or updated information. They say they’ll call and don’t etc … Many of the staff are rude and blunt. I saw several reviews that they’re not good for landlords or tenants and in my experience i wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t use to rent.

29th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Really let down by this company. Requested a viewing after speaking to the agent. Was informed they would call shortly with options. After a few days I called again only to be told that a colleague had already shown the property to potential tenants, in the interim. I asked for an opportunity to view. Again, said he would call back. Again, I had to follow-up a few days later. Was informed landlord had accepted an offer and would not permit other viewings. Really unprofessional from this company.
