16th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)When it comes to Estate Agents this really is the white glove service. Adam Burlison and his team guided us through a tricky purchase and, put simply, went way above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we completed our purchase and got into our new home before Christmas. We are confident in saying our transaction would not have completed without the support of Adam and his super positive and supportive team. From the start of our house search they were the only Estate Agents in Esher to take us seriously as buyers, showing us three houses in the same week on a specific estate where they are experts and clearly the preferred agency by the residents on that estate. Their investment in us paid off as we persevered with a very complex and lengthy transaction that many buyers would have walked away from. Could not recommend them highly enough.

Not only are they passionate about selling they sold our property quickly and efficiently, with their excellent Customer service, great communication and professionalism. We would like to say a massive thank you to Sarah, Michelle & Shelley for making this happen and we will always recommend PG's to anyone looking to buy or sell.

22nd Jul 2021 (3 years ago)The valuation was questionable. We had one sales person who was very communicative but overall the service was not good. The people sent to show buyers around were not professional.
12th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)“Pile them high and sell them cheap” If you know the phrase “Pile them high and sell them cheap” you will understand how Burn and Warne work. They boast of selling more properties than any other estate agent in Sutton, though their statistics show that they tend to sell below asking price. I did worry a little about this figure, when we signed up with them to sell our flat, and I made it clear that we were not looking for a quick sale but had plenty of time to find the right buyer. The lady we first dealt with assured us that they were “working for us” and would go to great lengths to match us up with the right buyer. She seemed to have a good knowledge of the local market, and was keen to tell us what a good negotiator she was, so we signed up. In the event, that was almost the last we heard from her, she did not answer any of my emails, and left any negotiating that was to be done, to the people in the sales office. We had a few viewings of the flat in the first couple of weeks, but as soon as an offer was made by a potential buyer, albeit £15,000 below the suggested price, we were being badgered to accept it. They seemed desperate to make a sale, whether the price was what we wanted or not. We were eventually persuaded to accept an offer £10,000 below the price we were asking, only to have the “buyer” come back a few weeks later asking us to knock a *further* £25,000 off the agreed price. We refused that offer, withdrew the flat from the market, and parted company with B&W. So much for matching us up with the right buyer! In a subsequent telephone conversation with the (somewhat desperate sounding) company owner, I was told that the lady we thought we were dealing with was a valuer, and had nothing to do with negotiating with buyers! She is pragmatic, always ready with an effective solution and a calming person to deal with nothing seems too much for her which is just what you want from someone looking after your property.

4th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)I cannot speak more highly of the team at Ashtead. I sold my house and the whole process was handled professionally and as smoothly as possible. I really liked the personal service and the “genuine” approach, especially having moved the house sale from one of the competitors in the area. Dan and the team were always super helpful and responded quickly to any questions or queries that I had. I also purchased a new home through V&H. Again, Maria and the team were absolute super stars. I always felt updated and they had my interests in mind at all times. I would highly recommend. Huge thanks, Catherine.

They couldn't have been more helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. They were always so responsive and patient with our numerous emails, queries and questions. They were even willing to give information about specific queries regarding the area and schools which was a particular concern of ours. Overall a fabulous experience with the team at PG Leatherhead. Vari and Maddy have been fantastic and we couldn't be more grateful for everything they have done for us during this process. Thank you so much!

10th May 2021 (3 years ago)Appalling experience, don't use these agents. No due diligence, no clear information, no urgency in anything they do. I've gone with other agents now having wasted 4 months on what should have been a straightforward no chain sale.

While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny
4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)We decided going through sales with Galaxy because the way that they sold this to us, that would be easy and quick. But in the end, after more than 2 months, we did not have a single visit and no updates or communication from them as well. I would not choose them again or recommend it.

Since the beginning of our negotiations we felt things were a bit strange… But as we really liked the house we decided to still move forward. After awkward beginning we got a call saying that we got the House. We were extremely happy. We them hired solicitors, got our mortgage approved and we were just waiting for the probate. After 1.5 months of our offer being accepted, we received one call saying that they were very sorry but there was another offer (sounding like it was a done deal for the other bidder.. yes it became an auction we believe..) Long story short, even after saying that we would potentially rase our offer to still keep the house, they never came back to us so we could only imagine that they for some reason chose who is buying their houses… At least for us this seemed very evident. With our mortgage ready/approved, investment positions withdrawn and solicitors hired. Big ££ loss will all that on top of the terrible experience… Ps: By the way the house was out of market as it was marked as Sold…
