12th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)At the end of tenancy, they don't respond to emails regarding the return of the deposit, TDS also didn't get any response from them , poor communication and poor service , not what you'd expect after renting from them for over 10 years . Avoid
4th Apr 2024 (25 days ago)Had a place in Rotherham town centre, dealing with Carly and Josh specifically at BRH. The moving out report had them trying to charge me for cleaning and damages that were there from the original time of moving in, even when the same damages were they from the day I moved in. Wouldn't recommend as they're job is to get the money from you, and have no further reasoning. From independent adjudication the moving out costs was more than halved than what flatfair and BRH had proposed.
6th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)DO NOT USE: Absolutely shocking customer service, staff are rude and belittling. Concerns are not dealt with in a timely or effective manner. Staff have frequently hung the phone up and they have no urgency or understanding of maintenance issues. I would highly recommend you use a different estate agent. We have had sewage left in our garden for weeks, multiple leaks throughout the house with the maintenance team they sent using toilet paper to block gaps in the shower. The list of issues is endless.
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Recently, I had a negative experience with Estate Agency 349 Woodchurch Road, Prenton, Merseyside, CH42 8PE, regarding the sale of a house. I do not recommend them due to their extreme inexperience, unfriendly demeanor, slow response times, irrelevant questioning, excessive interference, and lack of understanding regarding legal requirements. I informed them that I could provide a completion letter and proof of address of where I live currently when necessary, but they seemed unaware of these basic requirements. Overall, I would advise against dealing with them as it was a waste of time.
27th Apr 2024 (2 days ago)Overall we were satisfied with the service we received. We were kept informed at all stages and got answers to our questions. Venmore were the second estate agent we engaged as very dissatisfied with the first - we were not disappointed this time.

6th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)From the very first contact with Abbey we had a great journey with Entwistle Green Allerton. Great initial communication and friendly. We were shown around the property by Nyla who had made sure she had lots of information to share and the all important brochure. Nyla was very accommodating with our list of questions and we never felt pressured to rush. Once we made our offer the team handled this really well considering there was a lot of interest and other offers. They recommend DC law for our conveyance services which I’m always a bit dubious of but they were great too. Once the process started we had great support from Kirsty who provided that link between ourselves, the sellers and all solicitors. We’ve now got the keys and despite the usual panic moments I can honestly say these guys were great throughout. A company is only as good as the people they employ. The team in Allerton are superb. Thank you so much. We love our new house. Tony and Diane.

Vicky in particular is an invaluable member of the LPS team - always efficient yet approachable. Her expertise and ability to retain information never ceases to amaze me. 1st Apr 2024 (28 days ago)Terrible company, i was renting a poorly maintained property from Homesure and they refused to do any repairs. The property was full of single glaze windows with cracks on them that caused constant cold drafts over all. The carpets were full of blacks stains and flooded kitchen due to a hole on the roof. They refused to replace the windows and change the carpets and i put up with this for over 2 years. My kitchen ceiling had constant water pouring out of it last July which left me unable to use to room due to electrical safety. I was chasing this up constantly to be told in September that the landlord is not willing to spend any money on the repairs unfortunately and there nothing i can do. During this time Homesure repairs team had sent my 2 separate rent increases from 400 to 475 to 525 in the space of one month. I went to a tribunal that ultimately pointed out many safety issues within the block of flats due to exposed wiring, sealed fire exits, no fire alarms, no fire safety notices, no fire blankets. The tribunal had awarded me with no rent increase but i had moved property by then in November as the water in the kitchen was now pouring out of the lights and down the electric sockets. Once moved out Homesure then kept my deposit and said i had left the property in a bad condition and i stole all the lightbulbs. They wanted £60 for the lightbulbs which i had purchased myself as they did not supply them when i moved in and the rest of my deposit (£340) for carpet cleaning even though i got them professional cleaned when i moved in as they was full of black rubber like stains throughout the property. Luckily i had evidence from my move in date with the condition Homesure gave the property and i was awarded to full amount of my deposit. I write this review because i felt let down by this company as i lived in the property for over 2 years and never missed a payment. I spent a lot of money maintaining the property. When it came to anything being repaired Homesure would come up with any excuse not to repair anything. I had been reporting many issues since i had moved it and they either lost the reports or just forgot about it. When i got serious and pushed for them they would litterally say the landlord says No theres nothing we can do. Disgusting how they happy to take your money but then refuse repairs. I would not advise this company to anyone, they left me with a lot of stress and depression and i am now on medication because of them. The staff speak to you like rubbish on the phone and always put you at blame, feel like the company is run by a group of kids that take no responsibility what so ever and always blame the tenant. Also the fact they made up loads of lies to keep my deposit was very unprofessional and very scam like, they cannot be trusted. Please see images of the state of the repairs they refused to fix for me, avoid the flats on Church Road they are falling apart and they will not spend a penny or even admit they are in a really bad condition.
30th Jan 2024 (13 weeks ago)Had the absolute worst experience with Sutton Kersh - avoid!! I was purchasing my first house through them and it took around 28 weeks to get the keys from when my offer was accepted. I felt like I constantly had to chase them and was never given an update, I feel like I was always having to offer up potential solutions, the manager was always condescending probably because I’m young/a first time buyer. I was consistently told “it’s just a lengthy process” and 26 weeks into the sale the manager told me “there’s nothing anyone in this office can do for you” - even though at this point the seller and their solicitor had made the case a priority as it has been going on for so long. Once I was told to wait till the end of the week for an update, called back and the manager simply said “no, nothing in the inbox” and I had to ask if she was going to do anything about it or if she was just going to sit and wait potentially several more weeks for a response, she wasn’t very willing to help unless pressed and I feel like her attitude and overall level of service were shockingly bad, I couldn’t believe that she was the manager. After the sale, the seller was reimbursing something their solicitor was meant to pay for but mine charged me for, I sent an email about this to ask them to contact the seller and I never heard back, they didn’t care once the sale was through. However, on the other hand, months into the sale my case was handed over to Mary Kate and she was amazing, her personally I would give 5 stars to. I called so many times and sent so many emails and she was always happy to help and seems like she actually did her job in chasing the seller and trying to get the sale through, rather than just sitting back waiting for a response and hoping something would change. She never made me feel like I was being unreasonable by calling for an update and never minimised the situation, in all honestly think she would be a much better manager.

27th Apr 2024 (2 days ago)The staff are very knowledgeable and give honest valuations. Photography was outstanding and overall service and communication with Pippa and the sales team was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Atlas and shall use them in the future.
1st Jun 2022 (1 year ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

26th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Please avoid this Agency at all costs if you are a Landlord. Current tenant not paid since June 2023. Rental insurance was taken when the tenant moved in, however the owner cannot even be bothered to contact them to commence the claim. I'm over £6,000 out of pocket and its entirely due to this disgraceful company. I've lost count of the number of emails and phonecalls that are simply ignored and so have had no choice but to raise a complaint with the ombudsman.

30th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Wouldn’t recommend :) Our accommodation has floods, overflowing rubbish, mould, broken doors, homeless people living under stairs, no hot water for 3+ months and no responses to emails.
