She was so supportive and helped push things along for us, really on the ball with everything! She went above and beyond for us and it didn’t go unseen!! She always kept in touch with all updates and dealt with my 100 questions! A shoutout to Alfie too for putting up with our millions of viewings!! 10th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Very poor and unprofessional service. When they first posted the advert for my apartment they got the details wrong with the number of bedrooms, fees etc…. They are very difficult to get hold of and when you get through on the phone they are ver defensive and unapologetic. Communication on progress and visits is none existent. After 2 months of having my property on the market with them, their customer service team called me to enquire about my feedback as to the recent valuation they carried out and why I chose not to go with them to sell my property. I had to remind them that I did choose them and to look at their own system to see so. Happy I have now moved to move residential

22nd May 2026 (28 days ago)We used Select Homes to help us rent out our house and honestly couldn’t fault them. Really personal service from the start, with quick responses to any questions and genuinely helpful advice throughout the whole process. What stood out most was the attention to detail and how efficient everything was behind the scenes with all the admin and governance side of things. They made something that could have felt quite stressful feel really straightforward and well organised. Everyone we dealt with was approachable, supportive and easy to get hold of, and you definitely get the feeling they care about doing things properly rather than treating you like just another customer. Would definitely recommend

6th Jun 2026 (13 days ago)Recently just sold and completed on my sale yesterday with Whitegates. I found the whole process a smooth from start to finish. We were first time buyers when we purchased so we had never been through the whole selling aspect. I was very impressed by the photography (even though I was a pain on the day sorry James!) I used Whitegates recommended solicitor called Simply conveyancing and also found them brilliant. They were initially a little more expensive than others but the whole concept of their app completely changed our process. We used a local solicitor 2 years ago on our purchase and all I can say is it’s definitely worth the extra. Massive thankyou to Christian, James & the team!

Michael was helpful and informative throughout the process, from taking time out to accommodate a second viewing of the property to assisting with general property queries such as meter readings and stopcock locations as well being available late on a Friday afternoon for us to be able to collect the keys. Would recommend Leaders, Warrington.

8th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Unfortunately, our experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing. On more than one occasion, property viewings have been cancelled at short notice, despite my partner and I arranging our schedules around them. We had two cancellations in a span of 3 working days. Most recently, a viewing was canceled a few hours before scheduled viewing. What made the situation particularly frustrating was that I had specifically asked whether any offers had been received that might result in another viewing being cancelled (as we had a prior viewing cancelled last minute by this agency). I was assured that no such offers had been made, yet the viewing was subsequently cancelled regardless. Throughout our property search, we have dealt with several other estate agencies and have not encountered this issue elsewhere. Repeated cancellations demonstrate a lack of professionalism and consideration for prospective buyers' time. The repeated cancellation of viewings has left us with the impression that there is a greater focus on securing a quick sale than on providing prospective buyers with a fair opportunity to view and make offers on a property. It is difficult to understand why further viewings would not be allowed to proceed, particularly when additional interest could potentially benefit the vendor. As a prospective seller, I would expect all reasonable opportunities to be explored before a final decision is made. While we appreciate that decisions ultimately rest with the vendor, the circumstances surrounding these cancellations have raised concerns and left us questioning whether the process has been handled transparently and in the best interests of all parties involved. If you are selling your property, please note that as soon as you receive an offer further viewings get cancelled, therefore you are likely missing out on higher offers. If you are considering selling your property through this agency, it is worth being aware that, based on our experience, viewings may be cancelled once an offer has been received. This approach could potentially limit further interest in the property and reduce the opportunity for additional or more competitive offers to be considered. They will claim it to be upon vendors request. The recent properties in question which had viewings cancelled by this agency are all based in L13.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

9th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)5 starts purely for Kyra Naomi, we ended up enduring a 9month sale that was not straight forward and Kyra was attentive the entire time. Most people in this situation would give up or not be bothered as it took so long but Kyra was always on the phone or available by text never an issue. Great employee. TA did not act on behalf of me but Kyra was great to deal with.

4th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)I spoke to Lauren today on the phone. I wanted to take a moment to leave some positive feedback about the lovely lady who dealt with my phone call today. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but I called to enquire about arranging a viewing and ended up having such a helpful and enjoyable conversation with her. As I am not from Liverpool, I was looking for some guidance on different areas, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and insightful. She took the time to talk through various options with me, answer my questions, and offer helpful suggestions that I genuinely appreciated. What could have been a simple enquiry turned into a really reassuring and informative conversation. In a world where people are often quick to complain and slow to compliment, I felt it was important to recognise exceptional service when I receive it. She was genuinely warm, helpful, and caring, and she is a real credit.
