25th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I have had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Jones & Chapman, and I feel compelled to warn other tenants.<br><br>Despite repeatedly reporting ongoing health and safety issues in the property, Jones & Chapman have consistently refused to take meaningful action. Serious problems that pose risks to our wellbeing have been ignored for months, leaving us living in unsafe conditions with no urgency or accountability from the agency.<br><br>Customer service has been equally unacceptable. The staff have been rude and most unprofessionalI have ever dealt with. Their behaviour has been dismissive, confrontational, and at times blatantly dishonest. Instead of helping resolve the issues, they have made the situation significantly worse with poor communication and a complete lack of respect for tenants, by advising the landlord that the house is in great condition. Also trying to contact them and speak to someone is impossible, nobody ever answers and calls you back from a voicemail left. If I could give zero stars I would.<br><br>Jones & Chapman have shown:<br>- No commitment to tenant safety<br>- No willingness to carry out essential repairs<br>- No professionalism in their customer service<br><br>I strongly advise anyone considering renting through them to think twice. This has been the worst letting experience I have ever come across. If I could give no stars I would.

29th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I was under Northwood for 3 and a half years I am not the type to leave a review but I think to help others if their considering using them, Tennent, landlord whoever I would massively reconsider. They are the most rude and unprofessional estate agent I have ever come across. They take between 5-6 months to sort maintenance issues or sometimes just leave you without it being sorted. They don’t understand safeguarding or they just don’t care, there has been times iv been on the phone to a staff member from Northwood reporting an issues and mid conversation she started talking to someone else in the office, so she clearly wasn’t listing to me, all they say is we will call you back and never do, god knows what they do in that office because they don’t seem to work, they have put my rent up after every inspection without any improvement by them on the house I was in, and this is the worst part. Even the person who owned the property wasn’t happy with they was they worked and had to go through the hassle of getting rid of them and getting a new estate agent on board to manage the house as they wasn’t competent to do so. Northwood caused me alot of stress and I would never ever use them again is rather live in a tent !!!!

29th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I would highly recommend Brooks Estate and Letting Agents, Prescot. Selling my late sister’s property while living abroad seemed like a massive, stressful challenge for me but Brooks made the entire process much easier. After I handed over the keys to them they took complete control of organising the viewings. I was kept informed with marketing reports, viewings and feedback. Their level of customer service is excellent and they responded to all my emails and telephone calls immediately. I am so grateful, as they made what seemed like a difficult situation much easier than expected.

I’d give 10 stars if there were. Highly recommend ?

We had a very stressful process with a long chain, but everything was made easier thanks to Sophie. She always pushed for answers when needed and assured everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Hewitt Adams to anyone !

I would not hesitate in recommending for selling or purchasing
28th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Through out the year, general expectations of a letting agency were met. However, due to a couple instances, this rules out a good review.<br><br>One - they lied about attending a property when a fire risk was present, protecting their maintenance crew rather than admitting fault on their behalf. This was extremely concerning as all of our belongings including the house could have been destroyed!<br><br>Two - at the end of the tenancy, they charged their flat rate of £50 for a mattress clean for a tiny (1inchx1inch) brown mark, when the mattress was already measured by their own metric as ‘7’ meaning ‘minor marks or minor signs of wear and tear’. Then lied about the proceedings of the deposit return - stating that they would take all of the deposit if they did not accept our counter offer after three attempts via a 3rd party, causing our lead tenant to send a lower offer of £25, worried that they would take the whole deposit. However, this was a lie and this is not how the 3rd party operated, but it was too late to retrieve the offer once it has been accepted.<br>Additionally a mattress clean costs £50 or it doesn’t, the fact they even took our lower offer of £25 reveals they were just out for a quick cash grab, disgusting<br><br>All in all, MCR Move has a track record of a lying, do not go with them! Plenty of better agencies out there!

Unfortunately, our accepted offer fell through because our buyer lost their own buyer. It felt incredibly daunting to have to put our home back on the market, but Alison and Molly were absolutely amazing.<br><br>They were highly communicative, deeply supportive, and incredibly proactive. Thanks to their hard work, they managed to find us a brand-new buyer! Selling a home is a very stressful experience, but Alison and Molly kept us completely reassured with frequent, transparent updates on our progress. We felt supported every single step of the way. I cannot recommend Find Your Eden—and specifically Alison and Molly—highly enough!
