26th Jan 2026 (13 days ago)They had managed my rental property since 2021. I had minor issues throughout, but in the last 6 months have had significant problems. As a result, I’m currently recovering costs via the property ombudsman. I’ve rented properties for 20 years and never encountered such poor performance from another agent. I have also spoken with previous tenants who had an equally poor view, so seems they don’t look out for landlord or tenant. Be careful Update: I reached out to the POC provided below, but have received no response. My complaint via the property ombudsman seems to be the only route. Update 26 Jan 2026: They are the gift that keeps on giving. I am now receiving letters from a debt collector because they failed to forward on energy bills once the tenant moved out. Avoid at all costs - diabolical company
30th Dec 2025 (6 weeks ago)I highly recommend them, they are very quick to respond and they will even work beyond their normal working hours to make sure the sale and the purchase goes through. They are simply the best in this division. Elliot handled my sale from start to finish. He was a true Gent!

They were honest with valuations, never artificially inflating expectations and provided good advice to improve sales potential. A faultless experience. 26th Jan 2026 (13 days ago)We chose Savills to represent our home on the property market because it felt like they went the extra mile, and our hunch was proved right. From start to finish Savills were engaged and pro-active. We had previously tried to sell our property with another agent couple of years ago but only had three viewings. With Savills we had at least a dozen. The chain we found ourselves part of was long and tenuous, but Michelle was reassuring and efficient at all times, but especially whilst dealing with a sudden break at the very top of the chain. It is for all the above reasons we would recommend using Savills if you are thinking of selling your property.

30th Jan 2026 (9 days ago)We bought our house through Paul and moved in just after Christmas. If we were to sell, we would be more than happy to go with him, as we could see that he looked after our seller, but was just as fair with us as the buyer! He was honest and upfront from day one and there were no games - which is refreshing when you’re buying or selling a house. Especially helpful when you’re doing both at the same time! This meant that we could make well informed and quick decisions without worrying about losing time or money, and get on with the process quickly. The deal was done and there was no back and forth or being messed about on either side. Communication was instant at all times, and he was the go between for both sides, as our sellers had already moved from the area. The level three survey we had done found an issue with the roof that was not obvious or visible at all and which our sellers had no idea about. Paul helped both sides handle that smoothly despite it being the middle of winter when we had snow, rain and wind. A repair was done that went above and beyond, and we were sent photos and videos which reassured us, and he exchanged messages between both sides. We first saw Paul on one of his YouTube videos and didn’t really know what to think! In real life he is much taller (!) and is just as friendly. Paul and his team are professional, plain talking and really good to work with. If you like a personal service, like to be organised and need people who do what they say they will, you’ll absolutely love using his services.- 29th Jan 2026 (10 days ago)From the first point of contact to collection of keys this morning, Donna at Lovelle's has been superb. 24th May 2024 (1 year ago)This is the third time I have used Pridea to sell a property. Exactly the same experience every time. The property sells quickly with one robust sale that goes through to completion. Not my experience of using other estate agents in the area.
28th Jun 2025 (7 mo. ago)Great communication, regularly called to give updates or discuss how to increase traffic to our adverts if views were down. Never once told us to reduce our price which other agents often did as a method the gain interest.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He is always patient, takes the time to explain everything clearly, and makes what can be a stressful experience feel much easier and more manageable. He’s very knowledgeable about houses and always happy to answer questions, no matter how small. We’ve felt well supported and confident every step of the way. Highly recommend Stephen ??

17th Jan 2026 (22 days ago)Unfortunately, our experience with this estate agent was disappointing and we wouldn’t recommend them, particularly given the cost of the service. Communication throughout the process was poor. We received very little proactive contact, no feedback after viewings, and were constantly chasing for updates. Despite paying for a service, we ended up conducting some of the viewings ourselves. After the sale was agreed and completed, there was no after-sale care— no phone call or email once the sale completed, which felt unprofessional. When we tried to terminate the 12-week contract due to dissatisfaction, we were advised there would be a fee to do so. This was contrary to what we were told during the initial consultation, where we were informed there would be no fee if the property did not sell. Overall, the service was poor for the price charged and did not represent value for money.
