I am genuinely more inclined to get the property because of her service and highly inclined to work with reeds rain from how amazing the support was. she offered a wide range of options for support as well! would have left a money tip had that been appropriate. deserves a raise.

John Ashton valued our house and without a sale board put up I had three people interested immediately. I am dyslexic and had one or two hiccups with the solicitors, Alan Sutton put me at ease and helped me ensure everything was correct - from then on everything went smoothly. I can’t recommend this company enough I would definitely sell through them again . Not only do they have realistic , knowledgeable information on the area but respond quickly to any enquiry. An efficient ?extremely kind team who made me feel so was the n safe hands . Thank you for your support at an extremely difficult time in my life .

29th Sep 2024 (24 days ago)We've just sold using Gascoigne Halman in Altrincham. Rob gave us the best advice and a realistic price to list. His photography was on point and we were able to do all our viewings on one day, receiving an asking price offer that same day. Kate then handled the rest of the process, and despite it being rather difficult and very drawn out, she was professional, chased up the slow chain and remained calm when we needed it most. We've now moved out of the area but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. Thank you again!
11th Jun 2024 (19 weeks ago)I experienced discrimination whilst trying to rent a property. I have been told that they cannot take me or my family on their books as my son doesn’t earn enough! My disabled daughter is in receipt of PiP and I am a full time carer. Our benefits were not even taken into consideration. We were just told no and in no uncertain terms to not apply again. I am sure that between the three of us we would meet the requirements needed. I am also sure that it is against the law to refuse someone a tenancy because they are on benefits. I was almost accepted by the landlord when I first viewed a property.. it sounded promising, I was told when I rang the agents after the viewing, to take a deposit to the estate agent the following morning and they would hold the property for us.. only to get a message saying someone else had paid a deposit between the phone call late afternoon and 9am as the estate agents doors opened. I went there (on the train) to pay my deposit to be told the lady on the phone shouldn’t have told me to bring a deposit. They needed paperwork first. I sent over all the documents they needed. But I feel they had already made their decision. It wasn’t us! I will not waste my time with this estate agent again. My mother wanted to sell her home but didn't want the stress, after her trying with an inferior estate agent, so she handed the sale over to me. I decided on Main and Main. We were dealt with professionally from the first visit right through the Conveyancing process and sale. When the house went live, we had viewings arranged within days and an offer made within a week. Cathy, Sam, Matt and Leila were always professional and friendly too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone selling their home.

My experience with the whole team, including lettings, was outstanding, and I would definitely recommend Ashworth Holme for both sales and lettings.

We didn’t have the best experience with our solicitor, but found that TPM helped to keep us informed and in the loop where our solicitor couldn’t. Everyone we dealt with from TPM was lovely, knowledgable and quick to work through actions. We couldn’t be happier and would thoroughly recommend for anyone looking to buy or sell ????

(145 reviews)30th Sep 2024 (23 days ago)Absolutely horrific experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We stayed in a property of theirs for 12 months and it was horrific. A few things that happened; -Our heating didn't work, someone came out to fix it and actually made the issue worse, it began leaking water everywhere causing damage to some of our personal items and tripping the electricity to the flat. A second repair was completed a few days later but the pressure was raised so much that another repair man came out to look at it and said it was impossible to lower the pressure and we should avoid using the heating as the resting pressure was three times higher than it should ever be. He couldn't even manage to bleed the radiators properly. -The floorboards in the ensuite had rotted away due to a historical water leak and I was advised that the toilet would sink on one side, the man inspecting told us that all properties are in disrepair and he was unsure if he would be back to fix it before the end of our tenancy. He never came back, this was six month into the tenancy. -Our fridge broke. They were insistent it was our fault and would only find a replacement if we turned it off for twelve hours and then switched it back on and waited for twenty four hours to make sure it wouldn't come back on. It didn't. It took six days in total to have a replacement. -Constant harassment insisting that my flatmate hadn't paid rent. Every single time she has already paid, some instances she had paid double and it would always take them a ridiculously long time to confirm they had the money, that they had double what they should, and then return what they weren't owed. -A viewing took place whilst I was away for the week, when I left I had used a coloured toilet cleaner in the bowl ready to be washed away on my return. When I came home after the viewing my toilet was used, not flushed, and the person had clearly had an upset stomach. -Black mould in the bathrooms. -Dirty upon move in. -Initially refused to give us our deposit back as they said we had destroyed the flat. Once presented with their own itinerary and photos of the state in which they left it, they returned all our money and never contacted us again. -We moved out at the end of July. We gave them our final meter readings so we would no longer be responsible for paying bills. Tomorrow is OCT 1st and I have just recieved an email that I owe for gas and electricity from Aug- Sept. They have moved the meter readings to a different company but left the bills on my BG account so I cannot alert BG that I no longer live at this address. HORRIBLE company, terrible people. We were paying way too much money for such a disgusting experience.

She was knowledgeable, replied to any queries in a timely fashion and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend buying a home through them and if get to work with Rita you will be very lucky.

5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

Felt we were in safe hands and we could trust they were doing their very best for us. From the very first phone call, to the excellent photography, negotiations, sale progression and everything in-between we couldn't of been any happier. FIVE STARS
