22nd May 2024 (11 mo. ago)Absolute shocking service which resulting in me losing alot of money. No communication, no updates, they over value a property to get you on board and then you have to keep reducing the price because they cannot sell it. 2 years to sell a property during a time when all houses were flying off the shelves! Anything associated with Duckworths, I would stay well away unless you want to lose money. They don't care and it shows in their service.

1st Apr 2025 (7 weeks ago)Melissa berry were amazing. We decided to sell because we’d seen a house they were marketing. In the end we didn’t go with the house, but still sold. Shauna gave the the most accurate valuation. Normie had undervalued by £20k and the valuer was dismissive. We sold our house in 10 days for the correct valuation by Shauna. Geraldine and the rest of the office have been fantastic and I would 100% recommend.

25th Apr 2025 (23 days ago)Well I nearly didn’t go with them but so glad I did. They have been incredibly friendly yet also very professional. The photos and write-up were just brilliant. Beyond my expectations. They always have time for me on the phone. I feel they understood my position and were not pushy, but patient and took joy in my very fast sale. They seem to run that office like a machine. This is my 6th time moving house and this is (so far, and u have no doubt it will continue), by far the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agent. They are absolutely on the ball, keep me informed, and despite being exceptionally busy - so organised. I can’t recommend them highly enough - they’ve totally nailed this process! A big thank you to them! ????

These guys are professional couteous and know the local area and market so well. I would not hesitate to recomend them. In fact I would not use any other agent in my future house transactions. They are by far the best agents we have ever used. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you all so very much xxxx

16th Apr 2025 (5 weeks ago)I do not recommend Erik clarke estate agents in Farnworth, for months we have tried to book viewings with with, through online enquiries and phone calls. You can never get through to them and when we leave voicemails they dont return calls. Today i called them but selected option 1 for valuations instead of sales, and the lady answered straight away , i explained to her that no one seems to be returning calls. She went on saying but my colleague rang you for this property so why didn you show your interest in the other properties at the time, i said it didnt come to mind as we thought they may have been sold and hence why no one has returned calls/emails, my partner said in the back ground if they cant be bothered leave it.. she went on saying we being rude and will not be dealing with you, certain houses on Pansy Rd and Lupin Avenue that we have been chasing for months have been ignored. If you want to sell your houses dont advertise through Erik Clarke in Farnworth. Their ignoring enquiries through email and phone and then telling people we not dealing with you. Very rude and bad customer service, your houses are not getting sold anytime soon. Follow up from above. Following my post the sales manager emailed me zero tolerance email, and stated below they emailed me back 15 times and said i was rude on two occasions this is a lie SORRY THE TRUTH HURTS im not the only one saying your staff are not doing their job right and are incompetent , you decided to send me an email after i reviewed you one on google.You are an unprofessional company and your staff need training . I received an email not stating anything about 15 emails responses and all sudden we rude on two occasions. Avoid at all costs very unprofessional . You may contact all the authorities you like. I am sharing my experience.

3rd Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)They sent people to view my property who didn't even have their home up for sale yet, people in no position to offer most viewings were a total waste of time. I wouldn't recommend Miller Metcalfe. My ex partner bought my share of house in the end
10th May 2025 (8 days ago)I have been looking for a property to purchase for over 6 months and this is the only estate agency I have ever left a review for. They are very disorganised and don’t appear to communicate with each other. I phoned on 6th May to view a house today (10th May). They decided to phone me 1 hour before to ask questions about affordability and that the vendor may not allow us to view the property. What were you guys doing for 4 days??? People have got lives and things to do on the weekend and you have the audacity to phone 1 hour before a viewing to let me know I might not be allowed to view the house. Completely unacceptable. When I realised what a joke of an agency this was and that the vendor was going to be nothing but trouble, I cancelled the viewing. I wouldn’t recommend this agency.
