22nd Apr 2024 (11 days ago)We have had awful experiences with HBD’s maintenance of the flat which we rent. HBD manage the property and have left us without hot water and heating for 6 days and counting. They have not proposed any solution for the total lack of hot water and have ignored repeated requests for alternative temporary accommodation and a rent refund for the period. It feels like the property manager lacks any empathy for us as they seems to have to no qualms with leaving a pregnant woman in a house indefinitely without hot water or proper heating. Their attitude seems to be that it’s not their problem if parts need to be ordered and that the tenants are expected to live in horrific conditions while paying full rent. It’s truly shocking.
16th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)I have just completed on the sale of a property in Highgate through Lichfields who despite getting me the best price found a buyer in an exceptionally short time. This was all the more impressive as it was over the Christmas/New year period. From the moment Giselle valued the property i knew i had made the right decision. She was friendly, enthusiastic and professional with a great knowledge of the local property market. As with all probate sales problems and queries can arise during conveyancing but these were dealt with by Giselle and John timely and professionally and they were both a pleasure to deal with. I would certainly use Lichfields again and would have no hesitation in recommending Giselle and John as two people who will go the extra mile to achieve the best outcome for the client.

She could have just given me the details to do it. I wish all receptionist were like her. Well done we need more receptionist like her.

Polite, efficient and professional at all times. Punctual too, which was a first for estate agents :) All I can ask for and expect! From my experience I would highly recommend.

Her attention to detail and efficiency on organizing the viewings, as well as her professionalism and diligence on making sure only suitable properties would be offered to me, made this search much smoother and less time consuming. Although I've managed to come to terms with my current Landlord and ended by renewing lease on my current flat, I appreciate her time and availability during the past weeks and would not hesitate on recommending her services to any friends who need to rent a new flat in London. I would recommend Stonebridge because I only had contact with directors who were experienced. This held the chain together and their support was invaluable.
5th Apr 2024 (28 days ago)We were mid-conveyancing on a property through another Estate Agent as FTB’s when it was sold without warning by Benham & Reeves to other buyers. We lost our new home, our legal fees, our survey costs, mortgage offer, and low interest rate. We even started looking at furniture! Benham & Reeves not only condones “gazumping,” but clearly encourages it. What a shame that such a long standing institution has such unethical practices and little integrity. Response: Nowhere did I say I registered with you and nowhere did I say you were unlawful. I said gazumping, which you welcome, is unethical. Any house buyer in the country would agree. Your practices and actions as a company directly affected me in my house purchase, so I left a review - to call me “unethical” for writing it is ludicrous. Buyers should be made aware of which estate agents have no problem encouraging gazumping so far into conveyancing. If you find this “perplexing,” that’s even more concerning. My conveyancer was utterly appalled by you and your sellers (who were a faceless property investment firm).
