25th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)I thought there were no good agents in Oxford until Saville recommended me to Richard at Scott Fraser. Mixed reviews on the internet, so I was a little sceptical about them in the beginning but they proved me wrong. Richard head the sales team there with William and Caia. The whole team has been amazing throughout the whole process, from valuation through to final sale. The valuation was realistic and fair. Photography and marketing was delivered with professionalism. The viewings were conducted with professionalism and care. There was never any query / questions too trivial and the whole team was on top of our sale, so you can call up and speak to any member of the team to get an answer. Follow-up is excellent and they will always call back, if they don’t have an answer. They also go above and beyond to sort out any issues, and find solutions that works for both the buyer and seller. We sold our property first week it was listed. We are very happy with Scott Fraser Summertown and highly recommend them if you are planning to sell your property in north Oxford,

13th Jun 2025 (4 days ago)We recently completed the sale of our house in Botley, both Richard Chamberlain and Richard Evans were absolutely top class. They both knew their stuff and knew the market well, nothing was too much trouble. They answered all our questions and queries promptly(which we had many) and put our minds at ease on many occasions. They kept us informed the whole way via whatsapp and also rang us frequently to update us. The whole experience was stress free and smooth. From putting our house up and to completion took an amazing eight weeks, this was partly due to Juno, the brilliant solicitors they recommended to us. We would highly recommend anyone who needs to find a professional, friendly and very efficient local independent estate agent in Oxford to use Chamberlain Evans. Initially, we were struggling to find somewhere to live in Oxford and our experiences with other letting agencies was stressful to say the least. Rosie was the first lettings negotiator we dealt with that was empathetic to our struggles. Rather than pressuring us into making an immediate decision, we were given time to consider making an offer, and Rosie and was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. We highly recommend renting with Savills (and Rosie in particular) if you're looking for somewhere to live in Oxford.

Julian showed good strategies and helpful advice. I wish they provided feedback from viewings. It is not only about whether people made an offer or not. It's also about observation of how the viewing went, what sort of comments the viewers made. Asking the viewers at the end of the session what they thought. All this provides useful information.

We have been trying to rent a retirement apartment at the Watson Place development in Chipping Norton. It's been a complex introduction as McCarthy & Stone are involved as well as the private landlord. There has been much interest from other 3rd parties hoping to rent the same apartment, but Shai has been calm and provided us with feedback at every turn of the process.
