1st Mar 2025 (17 days ago)Both Sam and Dan looked after the sale of our property, and they've done an excellent job. It's interesting when you go and view properties for sale and see how different estate agents come across. I'd say that Gatekeeper are one of the few who remain professional throughout, which is always comforting to hear, especially when you're trusting them to sell your home. They were efficient and kept us updated with viewings and feedback. They were confident that they would be able to sell our house and they did this in just over 6 weeks. We've been very impressed with their service so far. They've been personable and always come back when you have queries. Thanks so much both!

9th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.

Initially, we were struggling to find somewhere to live in Oxford and our experiences with other letting agencies was stressful to say the least. Rosie was the first lettings negotiator we dealt with that was empathetic to our struggles. Rather than pressuring us into making an immediate decision, we were given time to consider making an offer, and Rosie and was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. We highly recommend renting with Savills (and Rosie in particular) if you're looking for somewhere to live in Oxford.

Right from the beginning until the end, they were very transparent with everything, extremely prompt in communication and professional in their conduct. What I specially liked about Thomas Merrifield is that unlike other estate agents I dealt with, they never "hassled" me to have any of their mortgage brokers, lawyers or other services that many other agents push their clients for. Lisa made the entire process very smooth, and helped me at every stage of the buying process, coordinating with the seller. She promptly addressed my endless queries over the last few months and helped me immensely. I would definitely recommend Thomas Merrifield if you are looking for buying a property in/around Oxford.
