Always very helpful and responsive when it came to maintenance or just about anything related to our home. We are now moving into a new beautiful house and once again, Sabrina in particular was just soooo helpful making the entire process very smooth. 19th Apr 2024 (16 days ago)We have just sold our house in Romford through Ashton Perkins and overall, we were very very impressed with the service we received. We chose Ashton perkins for no other reason than it was our closest estate agent - we are certainly glad that we did. Ben dealt with the whole process in a professional Manner, keeping us informed every step of the way. We only had a small chain (4 ) and was completed from start to finish in 9 weeks, which we were very happy with. We honestly cannot fault the service we received, everything went so smoothly, in what can be a stressful time. His knowledge, experience and communication are second to none, always just a phone call away. ( Nothing was ever too much trouble) He even recommended a very good solicitor (cunningtons) who , once again , were brilliant. If you want to deal with honest genuine realistic lovely people then look no further. We can not recommend highly enough Ben and the team from Ashton Perkins. Thank you. Rob and Wendy
6th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Not helpful. Didn't want to show around the property. We put an offer to the estate agent and he refused to phone owner till mid week as he said he was busy.??? Very unprofessional and won't ever deal with. How anyone can say professional is beside me.!

We have found them to be very professional but at the same time friendly and will explain any jargon that we come across that we do not understand. They have provided us with QQ reports, surveyors reports for purchasing and selling properties and have advised us several times. I would recommend this company
26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

20th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)I Was super unhappy with the service I received from Lux,I sold through them and really thought they where different, but in fact they worked more for the buyer rather than the seller which was really disappointing, I never really felt they told us the true situation in relation to the buyer.

Mandy provided guidance when needed and chased solicitors on my behalf, Faye’s persistence helped my exchange and completion go through all in the same day. Chalk Street have proved that you don’t need to spend extra hundreds of pounds to sell your property.
17th Jan 2024 (16 weeks ago)In times like this when renting a property is literally a nightmare, when agencies don't even bother to reply or answer the phone because they've got too many clients anyway, contacting Jemma from the agency was like seeing a light on the end of the tunnel or better to say an angel who finally woke you up from nightmares and gave a hope. So busy and under huge pressure, she always find time to answer your emails or call you back, she is an absolute jewel! Like my friend said and I absolutely agree, we just won a lottery with them! Edit: We lived(rented) in the house where many flats are managed by the agency and than you can get the clue why some people here are giving 1 star. I read those reviews and witnessed on my own eyes people from next door not paying bills, electricity cuts, bringing and leaving rubbish around the house and complaining that this government is not doing enough for them and they just want to live on benefits and agency suppose to give them accommodation for free??? It really makes me angry reading and seeing things like that, because if you are on benefits doesn't matter the reason why, you must understand that not even one agency will consider you in front of working people, simple as that, because you don't understand that you are risk for the people who work there, they are working for salary and they want to be payed for work they are doing, for service they are providing and you are expecting them to risk their work and life because of people who eventually might not pay the rent anymore??? Are you willing to work for someone who eventually will not pay you ? I know the answer on this one, because I'm not! I left the flat how I found it when my contract expired. We maintained it as it is our own property because we are living in it and we respect someone who owns it (same as you would expect if you give your car to someone, to fill it up, keep it clean and intact, no difference), and we got our whole deposit back on the same day our contract ended. So, don't believe some reviews here, it is not even worth it to read, because like I said, I witnessed the story behind that and how they left the property after they've got finally evicted (it was a relief for all of us in the building). Agency couldn't even place the property back to market, it was a nightmare. So they lost all that money for the rent, deposit is not going to be enough to bring it back for living condition and tell me, how people who work in the agency suppose to live? On benefits too? Sorry for my long rewiev, but someone independent needs to say the truth behind those 1 star reviews and according to this, I would just suggest the agency, "don't even bother with cases like this, because not even one agency does", but I know that you have more human approach like I said and that's why you are trying to help people even if they think that paying 6 month in front is a rip off, they don't really understand in what risk you are really placing yourself. BTW, we left the agency because our friends who left the country, gave us their property to live in, otherwise we wouldn't move from there, no chance. The best agency we experienced, honestly! Recommend!!!
16th Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)I would not give it 1 star, but this review doesn't let me lower it. The worst experience ever! the managing Director Mis-sold and breached his own contract and gave me a property in disrepair wouldn't return my money over £7K+ that I had to pay for a holiday let property. He retrospectively changed the details in the advert after I challenged him and to return my money which he kept on stone walling me. There lots more he has done that I can't put on here. I hope people don't have to go through what he put me through! Addition: 16/11/2023: I was overseas how could I have seen the property, I only saw the property physically the day you told me to sign and secure it and said cleaning was in progress SO STOP lying. Please respond to my legal emails if that is what you claim. BUT haven't responded because you now you are a lier. Also how could I stay in a disrepair property and you have also changed the locks when I left the property due to all the issues. I am waiting for my solicitors to draft the final letter to you. See you in court.

4th Apr 2024 (4 weeks ago)Dishonest, rude and highly unprofessional organisation. I received a parking notice for parking outside their office when it was closed! For just 15 minutes, from 18:25, to 18:38. I parked to collect food from the pizza shop next door so had an eye on my car the entire time, had they needed their parking space, I would have happily moved my car immediately. The ticket company euro parking services fined me on the grounds of: “parking on the premises whilst failing to enter registration number at the kiosk on site.” I appealed this immediately as I argued that I could not enter my registration as their office was closed. They rejected my appeal so I got in touch with this office directly. The director called me and I explained how unfair the ticket was. He understood my point of view and took my registration number and said he will contact the parking company. The next day I contacted the office to get an update on the situation, I couldn’t get through after several calls as I was clearly being avoided but my wife managed to get through with her number. During her conversation she was told that they couldn’t do anything about revoking this notice even though I had a conversation with the director himself the day before who said he will do something about it. At the end of their conversation my wife was told that the director would be in the office the next morning so I can discuss the matter with him then. I visited the office the next morning, only to be told the director was no longer in the office. I then recieved a call later in the day from his PA saying that there is nothing they can do about the fine. This company essentially gave me false hope by lying about doing something to revoke this fine when they had no intention of doing so. Unfortunately, I’m now left with a £100 fine to pay because I parked outside a closed office only to visit a shop next door. The funny thing is, the estate agents do not receive a single penny from this fine! Ironic how an estate agent is happy for people to potentially receive CCJ’s over not paying unfair parking notices which adversely affects their chances of obtaining a mortgage.

He was always at the end of the phone, responded to all emails/phone calls and kept us updated throughout the transaction. Billy is a straight up guy and that’s exactly what you want working on a challenging sale. We couldn’t have asked for a better agent to be on our case! Thanks so much for your consistent hard work through this!!! 5 stars and 10/10 for Billy!!!
