17th Jul 2024 (10 days ago)All staff will at Douglas Allen group at epping were great! First spoke to Ian who was so kind, friendly and very helpful. He arranged a meeting with mortgage broker Roy who explained the process very well step by step. Then the viewing was very warm and welcoming. I'd also like to mention Adam who made the viewing very special and made me like the property even more. I may have forgotten some names but I promise you that I have had the nest experience. I eould recommend Douglas Allen group to anyone who needs to buy a house. I'm so grateful for the excellent and very professional service I have received!

They supported us and took out all the stress of negotiations selling our home as well as getting a good price on our new home. They were considerate, insightful, open, honest and worth EVERY single penny. Would not hesitate to recommend.
21st Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Our purchase was a long and complicated one through no fault of ours or the seller however, the service offered by Steve at Lawlors was incredible. Steve ensured we were updated with every development in the long chain which was continually revealing issues, only delaying completion. He not only was keeping us updating but supported us fully throughout the purchase, guiding us and taking the initiative to resolve the problems arising. Steve ensured he was communicating with everyone involved in the chain which kept us reassured and encouraged us to hang on for as long as we did. At no point did we feel we couldn't reach Steve and he was prompt at returning calls if missed even if it was out of office hours. We have now thankfully completed the purchase and are grateful for the assistance we have received from Steve at Lawlors. Thank you Steve for your efforts and we look forward to keeping in touch.

Wayne Foley and Brontë Sheridan are the people every business should want to hire because they are professional but more importantly (in my long winded selling case) proactive ! If it wasn’t for them, my selling process would still be dragging on for months. After dealing with another well-known brand where I constantly had to chase the agent myself, this was exactly the type of service that I needed, and at last my properties sold this week! Thank you guys !
17th Jan 2024 (6 mo. ago)In times like this when renting a property is literally a nightmare, when agencies don't even bother to reply or answer the phone because they've got too many clients anyway, contacting Jemma from the agency was like seeing a light on the end of the tunnel or better to say an angel who finally woke you up from nightmares and gave a hope. So busy and under huge pressure, she always find time to answer your emails or call you back, she is an absolute jewel! Like my friend said and I absolutely agree, we just won a lottery with them! Edit: We lived(rented) in the house where many flats are managed by the agency and than you can get the clue why some people here are giving 1 star. I read those reviews and witnessed on my own eyes people from next door not paying bills, electricity cuts, bringing and leaving rubbish around the house and complaining that this government is not doing enough for them and they just want to live on benefits and agency suppose to give them accommodation for free??? It really makes me angry reading and seeing things like that, because if you are on benefits doesn't matter the reason why, you must understand that not even one agency will consider you in front of working people, simple as that, because you don't understand that you are risk for the people who work there, they are working for salary and they want to be payed for work they are doing, for service they are providing and you are expecting them to risk their work and life because of people who eventually might not pay the rent anymore??? Are you willing to work for someone who eventually will not pay you ? I know the answer on this one, because I'm not! I left the flat how I found it when my contract expired. We maintained it as it is our own property because we are living in it and we respect someone who owns it (same as you would expect if you give your car to someone, to fill it up, keep it clean and intact, no difference), and we got our whole deposit back on the same day our contract ended. So, don't believe some reviews here, it is not even worth it to read, because like I said, I witnessed the story behind that and how they left the property after they've got finally evicted (it was a relief for all of us in the building). Agency couldn't even place the property back to market, it was a nightmare. So they lost all that money for the rent, deposit is not going to be enough to bring it back for living condition and tell me, how people who work in the agency suppose to live? On benefits too? Sorry for my long rewiev, but someone independent needs to say the truth behind those 1 star reviews and according to this, I would just suggest the agency, "don't even bother with cases like this, because not even one agency does", but I know that you have more human approach like I said and that's why you are trying to help people even if they think that paying 6 month in front is a rip off, they don't really understand in what risk you are really placing yourself. BTW, we left the agency because our friends who left the country, gave us their property to live in, otherwise we wouldn't move from there, no chance. The best agency we experienced, honestly! Recommend!!!

25th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)I had scheduled a viewing but ended up waiting outside the property for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, no one responded to my calls, emails, or the doorbell during that time.
An amazing experience from the first time my partner and I entering the shop in Sawbridgeworth to be greeted by Michael to book an appointment. Adam came round spent time with us, with such professionalism and knowledge. It was without hesitation we choose Mackays independent agent to sell our home. Michael and Adam came round took stunning photos and a video to show off our property to its full potential. The response was outstanding, the viewings came flooding in. The communication from every member of Mackays staff was impeccable throughout the sale. It was within a few days we had paperwork signed, marketing done and on the market. We sold within the week! The professionalism, friendly, attention to detail was second to none. We have now completed and very happy with the whole package of excellent service we received from Mackays. I would strongly recommend Adam, Michael, Paul and the complete team at Mackays. In fact I have already, and Mackays have come up again trumps with selling my mum's property for her again within a week! My viewing was arranged in literally the same day we managed to make an offer on the very day. She kept on communicating with us the whole time. We are enjoying our new residence.

It's quite rare to find a company that provides satisfactory service these days, let alone an outstanding one. Well, they absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot! Firstly, everyone I dealt with in this business was friendly, helpful, and polite. I used them for what turned out to be a highly complex sale/purchase, and I genuinely believe that had I not used Stanton Hockett, I would never have moved. They were dedicated, kept in contact throughout, were always available to speak to, were honest throughout, and totally committed to working with all parties to ensure the whole process worked. All of these qualities were appreciated and welcomed, but for me, personally, it was the personal touch that they brought and knowing that they cared. I really cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put in for me. Special thanks to Bradley, Tina and Gavin, but know the whole team contributed, so thank you.
