He was attentive, responsive and above all supportive with our needs. Mortgages are complicated and take way longer than you believe, especially as a first time buyer. With that, having Alex Gallagher on our side, giving us honest advice and many visits to the property, it put us at ease. Special mention to the rest of the team, Chloe and Debbie especially. We were above all very fortunate and pleased to have worked with Alex with our first house purchase. Keep up the cracking work.

We immediately felt comfortable that the process would be smooth and easy and were lucky to have him support us through. Having to find a buyer quickly to secure the sale and managing a relocation was not easy but we can honestly say we had the best experience end to end with Daf and would recommend him 100%. We have both bought and sold many properties over the years and are so grateful our sellers chose Smith’s as the service from Daf was exceptional. Katie and Keith and Sweep the dog!- 2nd Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)I bought my house with Dawsons Sketty in 2011 and they were fab. So when I came to sell it, I contacted them. Alison came round to value the house, and she was so enthusiastic and nice about my home - it was an easy choice to pick them to sell it. They kept in contact with me regularly, providing feedback after every viewing. Even when I had an offer (quite quickly too!), they maintained regular communication with me up to this week when I exchanged contracts. Their team is attentive, nice, and seems to really care about their clients. They are also very proactive and happy to help move along solicitors and the infamous "chain". Thank you Sharon, Alison, Selina, and team! You are all superstars.

13th Aug 2024 (26 days ago)Went to their swansea office to ask for a property we like, unfortunately it was already taken. However, Michelle accommodated and helped us to look for properties available. Sophie toured us around the property we viewed, she was very knowledgable and bubbly and she answered our questions well. She is excellent in her field. Michelle kept us well informed and updated, and offered help when needed. Shocked and saddened when she moved offices when we were the end of the buying process, but Josh came to the rescue and made us at ease towards completion. The only downside was when we rang their office one day to get an update and an agent (we didn’t catch the name) couldn’t find details of our sale even though we’ve given them the address. We called in to the office to check and spoke to Josh who reassured us that our sale was on the system. Overall, service was great! Would highly recommend John Francis Swansea!

They were supportive, knowledgable and competent quickly able to provide someone to do an EPC for me and suggesting an excellent surveyor. I highly recommend this Estate Agent to make your move as stress-free as it can be.
13th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Extremely disappointing…Started off excellently, then they got bought out twice (by Countrywide, then Connoll’s, I understand) and I barely heard from them afterwards. Their great Mortgage adviser also left, plus her replacement who didn’t let me know, in which time interest rates went up. Their newest in-house mortgage adviser in Killay is fantastic, however and really helped us out, I would highly recommend her. Relatives of mine also listed their property with JF Sketty before the service nosedived and they’ve had an even worse experience, now causing huge inconvenience and worry. I would absolutely avoid and go to Belvoir Sketty instead, whom I cannot fault. It’s very rare indeed that I feel compelled to leave a bad review but feel strongly that people should be aware, not to lose a lot of time and have to deal with lot of stress, if nothing else. It’s a real shame as the initial staff (whom I assume mostly left) were superb and I see that previous reviews on here recognise this.- 27th Feb 2024 (6 mo. ago)My husband and I attended a what can best be described as an ‘interesting’ viewing with Megan recently. I am a rental landlord I have viewed a large number of properties over the past 14 years and worked with many estate agents. I was very impressed by Megan; she acted with courtesy and great professionalism throughout.

I received such a wonderful, professional service from the whole team when I was buying a house through them recently. I felt so lucky that they were the estate agents, selling the house I wanted.

1st Jun 2024 (14 weeks ago)Late for viewings, one time I had a prospective buyer sat in my living room for 20 minutes waiting for them. I did not receive any feedback from any of the viewings until I complained. We have switched to an independent estate agent after 5 months on the market with them
15th Aug 2024 (24 days ago)I met Andy by chance whilst he was valuing a neighbours property in May 2024. I was in the final stages of renovating our property ready for sale and hadn't contacted any estate agents, Following a brief conversation, I asked Andy to value our property and continue with marketing it. It was evident that he had a positive sales approach which would benefit both parties A very efficient and prompt service was experienced with several viewings and an offer accepted within the first week. During the period prior to completion, communication was regular and clear as to what was required. We completed last week and the neighbouring property is also SSTC. I would use Andy/Moving You again with no hesitation.

Alan sold our house for us and went above and beyond. I've never experienced such fantastic communication and compassion when selling a property. Alan was completely invested in selling our property and throughout the whole process went above and beyond with keeping us updated and following up on matters. The most important thing for me was that I found Lucy Alan to be entirely honest. Their investment in the sale of our property was so incredibly refreshing and I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell. A massive thank you from 2 very happy customers!

They are a dedicated team, whereas, other agents lack the motivation to push the message out. They are very knowledgable in relation to the property markets, and as this is their sole business, and not belonging to a corporate office, this drives their passion to be successful in achieving and end result, whether in sales or lettings. Ashleigh and Conrad are very approachable and understanding in a clients needs, as well as offering the best advise regarding direction, movement and protocol regarding managing the property. I believe and trust the Barry team to deliver the best service one would expect from a property agent. You may try the rest, but, I advise to try the best! First!.

We used many other local estate agents before turning to Calow Evans for help in February. We had an offer within three weeks and completed in 5 months. Our sale was a complex sale and the compassion and understanding they showed us made the whole process far less stressful for as sellers.Thank you for everything you done for our family, we will forever be grateful
