26th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)We are so pleased that we chose Hamptons in Cirencester to market our property. Having lived in the same house for over 30 years we approached the thought of selling with some trepidation. However, shortly after our phone call Ian arrived and put us at ease from the outset. He provided a realistic price guide based on thorough research of similar sold properties in the area. Once we were ready to sell, our property was on the market within a week and sold subject to contract within 5 weeks. Throughout the entire process Ian, Greg and the team were always available for advice and support and their professional and friendly approach ensured that everything went as smoothly as possible liaising with all parties and keeping us regularly informed through to completion. If we were to sell again we would be straight on the phone to Hamptons.

Communication was always timely and clear, with quick responses to any questions we had. Jenny, our main contact, was outstanding — incredibly helpful, knowledgeable about the local area, and supportive at every stage of the process. Nothing was ever too much trouble; she opened the property for viewings on multiple occasions to accommodate our needs, which we really appreciated. We felt well guided from start to finish and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Moore Allen & Innocent Lechlade.

Kept in the loop with viewings and outcomes. Very useful feedback from potential buyers. Found the Street.co.uk app good. Would definitely use McFarlane Sales & Lettings again. Tim Stanley was excellent.

Particular thanks for dealing so effectively with the solicitors for both sides and eliminating what can otherwise be somewhat stressful.

From initial discussions early in the process to submitting our mortgage application and offer acceptance. Even after our offer has been made he continues to offer support with any questions and I cannot recommend him enough. We have had a brilliant process with Perry Bishop throughout and everyone has been amazing!

6th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)CBSlade already had a buyer lined up for my house. It sold very quickly, I was told it was with a cash buyer. After about 6-8 weeks I hadn't heard anything I contacted Slade only to be told he was now looking for a mortgage. I was never kept up to date I always had to chase him. I felt like CBSlade didn't care about the sale of my house he only wanted to keep the Builder happy who was buying my house. This particular builder buys and sells through CBSlade so he was always looked after NOT ME. From the day the builder said he would have my house until we completed took 8 months. Far too long. DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
